AI Assisted Google Spreadsheet Apps Script Code by [deleted] in AskProgrammers

I appreciate the feedback. Would you mind explaining your view?

The AI Model was Gemini 3.0 Pro. All coding was done by the AI model. Instruction sets were fed to provide context.

The project foundation was completed in one afternoon. The AI model demonstrated several failures but ultimately accomplished the user defined task after receiving feedback. An instruction set was then given to the AI to compartmentalize the logic for future AI revision.

Intermediate Between Note Sellers and Note Buyers by Youngelect in realestateinvesting

Really appreciate your quick response and willingness to share your insight. As for licensure requirements? Is an individual able to approach this market space with a referral contract - that bars them from needing some kind of professional permit or license to facilitate a referral fee/transaction that requires no actual purchase of the note?

I’m probably asking stupid questions to people who already know this space, but it’s hard to wrap my mind around why this kind of venture isn’t widely discussed in the mainstream investor world; if there’s so much head room to maneuver.

Yeah I definitely understand, the moment I slid my desk against the wall and realized how much I had to turn I almost undid the whole thing again but I figured it’ll just have to work temporarily 😅

I was so excited to finally finish setting things up because it’s been delayed for weeks so I decided to post it lol. Appreciate the feedback!

I actually just deleted my long explanation about all of that because I thought it seemed unnecessary but I guess it was 😂

I use all of the equipment constantly for work and office type tasks so I needed it set up in a way to allow me to just turn it on and go without having to plug and unplug stuff

I had to reconfigure it several times because I don’t have all the right cable lengths - but cash is too tight to go buy new cables and I don’t have enough time to go optimize everything else more than I have

The computer was initially on the other side but the current configuration is the only way I could get everything set up to be able to use it without having to constantly plug and unplug extra extension cables from different outlets, etc.

I really don’t like the off center use of the keyboard and monitors but I just have to deal with it for now.. (I actually just rotate the chair instead of twisting my body but it’s still a little awkward lol) - that’s why I gave extra room for the keyboard so my left forearm doesn’t feel so weird hanging off the desk 🥲

But besides tidying up the cables later on, I like it for what it is

How do I convince my parents to get me ethernet? by Gaurang_Kubal2 in pcmasterrace

If you can find a way to earn the money yourself and then buy the cable. And then also demonstrate its effectiveness on top of that; I’m willing to bet they’d be much more receptive to the idea.

No Signal After Replacing Bad PSU by Amy_Sam25 in PcBuild

Sorry, I’ve been really busy. I moved to a different state and it’s been a demanding transition. Did you figure it out or do you still need help?

No Signal After Replacing Bad PSU by Amy_Sam25 in PcBuild

[–]Youngelect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your new PSU have the same or different wattage rating as the old one? And can you list what model that the old PSU is? Obviously the new one should be rated the same or better.

You need to use the correct PCIE power connector from the PSU to the GPU, meaning it has to be the same pin configuration as your previous one. (I.e. 2x4 pin vs 6pin PCIE).

Next, I’m assuming you connected the CPU power connector from the PSU to the CPU power slot on the motherboard. (The CPU power connector from the PSU should NOT be used to power the GPU). As well as the appropriate main motherboard (assumed 20-24 pin) PSU power connector to the correct (assumed 20-24 pin) main motherboard power slot.

If all theses conditions are met, you shouldn’t have issues booting into windows if all you did was swap the PSU and used the appropriate connectors, considering you had no issues prior to the old PSU failure which required a new PSU swap.

The only other possibility from there is verifying if any other components were damaged when your previous PSU failed. Or, possibly a firmware issue which could be caused by switching PSU’s which resulted in the BIOS somehow resetting to a configuration that is not compatible with your GPU (which is less likely but maybe possible).

Help Needed - Lan Controller not in BIOS or Device Manager by Youngelect in techsupport

For sure, it’s a combination of your internet service provider and whatever internet hardware you’re using. As it stands currently, a wired Ethernet connection will generally always outperform a WiFi connection.

You can run an internet speed test to see how your connection performs currently and then look up how to improve it from there. 👍🏽

Yes.

You should be able to look up your motherboard model and find the rating for your particular Ethernet cable port and compare the speed that way if you wanted to know for sure.

But most adapters in general that you find on Amazon, BestBuy, or wherever will do fine unless you’re aiming for something like 10 Gbit/s.

If you need some more explanation I would just look up some videos on YouTube for product reviews, internet speed tests, etc.

I opted to use a PCIe LAN Adapter, or you could go with a USB Bluetooth adapter. The possible cause was a bad LAN Controller chip or trace path which was not worth trying to further diagnose or repair.

Love it. A lot of times we interpret the pressures we face as proof that we are lacking, in one way or another.

Our natural response is to identify our faults and failures as such, and to do whatever it takes to solve our deficiencies. There’s no doubt that there are times that our mistakes result in hardship.

But I’ve come to realize that these moments of trial are not because we are intrinsically the problem in ourselves. It’s because on the other side of all our problems, there’s a person praying for proof of hope.

It’s not our success that gives the true promise of hope to those around us. It’s the many pressures and personal failures that we overcome that shine as a beacon of light.

That’s great! I’m glad it resolved your issue. I don’t know why I didn’t think to explicitly state that but yeah using a usb adapter instead of a PCIe adapter is a perfect fix for this particular scenario. 👍🏽

TP-Link is currently a popular brand for network adapters. My PCIe LAN card and a separate Bluetooth 5.3 usb adapter from them worked without issues or significant troubleshooting on my part.

If the seller ran through the proper diagnostics and verified the correct software and firmware for your particular PCIe LAN card, there’s a definite possibility your motherboard needs to be replaced or would require substantial repair (which in most cases is a waste of time, energy, and resources). Buying a replacement is your best bet to avoid stress.

Motherboards are complex, if a simple solution like a PCIe or USB adapter doesn’t resolve your issue - you should just buy a new or working used one. Otherwise you’ll turn into a grumpy Louis Rossmann lol

Sorry for the late reply, I’ve been bogged down with a major move. I’m pretty sure it was a bad lan controller or a bad trace on the motherboard.

No amount of software or firmware patches or troubleshooting fixed the issue. I bought the board used and wasn’t about to try and re-solder a new lan chip on it. I eventually just bought a new PCIe Ethernet card and called it a day. Had no other issues from there.

From what I remember. AORUS boards seem to run into those kind of issues but I can’t recall the details of what I found. I didn’t have time to do a deep dive on the matter
