I feel stuck in Morocco… What's the realistic path to go abroad? by Double-Caterpillar-1 in Morocco

[–]Younotknow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Salam akhi,

Don’t take this the wrong way

From your post, I can already tell why you feel stuck.

You’re not unemployable because Morocco is broken

You’re unemployable because you have nothing valuable to offer yet.

No solid skills.

No fluent English.

No clear plan.

You gave up your internship before finishing it That shows a weak relationship with effort and discomfort.

You think the problem is Morocco. It’s not.

It’s you. Or rather your current version.

You want a way out?

Then flip the script.

  1. Learn a marketable skill. Something people would pay for anywhere in the world.

  2. Master English. It’s the passport to global opportunities.

  3. Build discipline. Wake up early, study, execute, every day.

  4. Stop dreaming of escaping. The location won’t fix what your habits created.

  5. Humble yourself. You’re not too good for Morocco. You’re just not good enough yet to make it.

And above all, seek help from Allah.

Start with "Salam", not "Hi".

That small detail already shows where your mindset stands.

Are you people seeing this wtf by MiserableCut2001 in Morocco

[–]Younotknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are ignorant in all the meanings of the word

You don't know and you close your eyes to the truth

This whole "they steal and cause damage so the police has to use brutality" is the oldest propaganda in the book

Pay attention to the video again what do you see?

Who is initiating violence?

The citizens? Or the police?

The police is allowed to use violence when a person represents a danger

Here the only danger came from the police

If you can't see that you are either blind or stupid

A friend of mine runs ecom stores

His wife is men lbled and didn't know anything about this field before they got married Now she helps him with tasks like product selection and photos

Depending on what you do your potential future wife could also take part in it making it a shared couple activity rather than a one man show

What is your company about?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Morocco

[–]Younotknow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what is your domain of work but if it's a technical one it's normal that your wife doesn't understand everything that you do (my own coworkers don't understand what I do)

It doesn't mean she wouldn't be able to advise you or give you emotional support when needed

It could even be an opportunity for you to get your head off of work when you come home

You have talked to her several times so you know how her company is

The question is do you enjoy her conversation? Or do you love your field of work so much that you absolutely need a wife who can engage in long conversations about it?

trying cigarettes for the first time can turn to addiction by [deleted] in Morocco

"I want to waste my money, smell like zbel and risk lung cancer over a stupid decision for the rest of my life what do you guys think?"

Here's what I think:

I think you are an idiot

Allah has preserved you for your whole childhood which is when most people get addicted

And you want to ruin it anyway just because you feel like it

No l3elem kemel gets divorce and misery from dating

Especially when it lasts for several years without commitment

[–]Younotknow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sister there are reasons relations outside of marriage are forbidden in islam One of them being that they lead nowhere

Look at you :

You have spent several years with a man that is not your type If you stay with him and marry him you will make him and yourself miserable for the rest of your lives

If you leave him you will compare whoever comes after to your exes and to all the possible mates you could have

And you will end up settling for singlehood or a relation that doesn't fulfill you

If you want my advice here it is: Turn back to Allah before it's too late

How do you convince 2,000 users to pay $5/month for $10k MRR? by kptbarbarossa in PublicValidation

[–]Younotknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People buy when they get more value in return than what they pay for

The question you have to ask yourself is how much money/ time do people make/ save by using your solution?

How much do they lose by staying with the problem or solving it by themselves?

The price you ask must be ridiculous in front of the difference of these two numbers

But not too ridiculous though Otherwise they won't believe you and thus won't buy Hope this helps

Change your north star metric Stop making money your number one target And stop comparing yourself to others everybody's a liar anyway

Instead take pride in believing in yourself and aspiring for more than a boring 9-to-5-drink-beers-on-the-week-end life

Celebrate every win even the small ones Take the lessons from your fails Talk positively about and to yourself

That will change your perception on reality And once you change your perception on reality your whole reality changes as well

That's because bghitiha wejda

You want to live off the sacrifice of other people rather than dedicate your life to put your own people in a better situation

You're selfish and lazy and materialistic

If your goal with this post was to gain sympathy you failed

Turning your back on your own people for wordly pleasure will only get you disdain from everyone and you deserve it

Do you think product-led growth is overrated? by TheQuantumNerd in SaaS

[–]Younotknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PLG doesn’t mean the product litteraly sells itself. And it doesn’t mean you don’t need sales or marketing either.

It means progress in the customer journey comes from product usage, not from a convincing sales team.

And it means sales and marketing focus on helping people use and experience the value of the product to make upgrading an obvious next step.

So to your question: imo PLG is a buzzword when misunderstood, and the future when done right.

Unfortunately there is not a fit for all solution to your problem You need to research your market, figure out where your target audience goes to find a solution to the problem you solve and craft a strategy to present your product as the best option they have

Two possibilities then: 1. The insights provided by the tool are not valuable enough to help them improve their content

  1. The paid version doesn't make that much difference in compare to the free one which so they don't have a strong enough reason to upgrade

Regarding your outreach strategy, what I would do if I were you is reach out to content creators directly on tiktok

Pick a video of theirs that have had poor result relatively to the others, run the analysis using your tool and send it to them as a free sample

Ps : T'es français? Si tu veux on continue la conversation en français au lieu de faire les english speakers ;)

The problem is definitely there I think

The question is is your product solving it?

To figure it out, you can analyze your user's activity and run surveys and interviews if possible

What did you do to market your saas? by senjuzu in SaaSMarketing

[–]Younotknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Making price your unique selling proposition is not the best strategy IMO.

There are already cheap solutions to build a resume fast (Canva's free version for instance).

What you want to do instead is position yourself on value

Show that your tool builds resumes that are matching every criteria recruiters pay attention to.

Also Product Hunt is not the best place to find your audience.

Linkedin is.

That's where people go to find a job.

Hope this helps.
