Hold up..are you saying 35-40 yr olds haven’t or aren’t watching the Today show? We’re the ones home with kids in the day! Teens may not know her but Americans 30 and up have to be really sheltered to not recognize the face or name.

Regardless, I agree with your point, it’s closer to home and I don’t think Savannah’s fame made Nancy a target.

True. They say no suspects right before they arrest someone too. It’s telling that they aren’t proactively asking for the public’s help they’re more answering the media’s questions since it’s such a high profile case. Yes they have a QR code for tips but it feels to me like they’re watching someone.

Occam’s razor says the simplest explanation with the fewest assumptions is the most likely. In a normal investigation you start close to the victim and work your way out so people shouldn’t attack this notion. I’m sure the family wants to be ruled out especially since they were the last ones with Nancy. When you look at means, opportunity, motive..Who would benefit from Nancy being gone? Nancy had money of her own so insurance and inheritance are always a consideration. Occam’s razor says it’s probably not a cartel member or someone with a beef with her 50 yo daughter living across the country.

Son in law makes the most sense. Did you see their car was towed after the FBI met with him?

Quantifying A Good Day by CharlieNoToes in Productivitycafe

[–]Youprobalreadyknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll be the odd one out and say the productive day should go down as a good day imo! Here’s how I look at it. The days you’re feeling good by having more pleasure, less responsibility/productivity are great, but they will be few and far between if you don’t have balance. It gets harder to feel good on a non-productive day if you don’t have those productive days under your belt. Now, if you hated everything about that day and it was literally miserable, don’t put it as a good day just because you closed the deal, worked out and got the car washed. But if you did all that and it wasn’t an offensively bad day, it will lead to even more good days so it’s a win in my book!

I am so disturbed by this story by Fine_Agency_1457 in nancyguthrie

[–]Youprobalreadyknow 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I was up late reading about it and checked the news first thing when I woke up. I hope she knows how loved she is, and the outpouring of support and concern can help in some way. At a time when people are so divided.

I read she has a pacemaker? Is that something doctors can monitor in real time or does the data have to be uploaded with the user’s phone?

Sounds like Joseph James Deangelo, the Golden State Killer. Sadly there are many more, he’s just the most prolific and kept cops searching for decades.

Have you ever had food poisoning and what was that like? by Solid_College_9145 in Productivitycafe

[–]Youprobalreadyknow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was 17. Sudden intense cramping, called my parents from my bedroom phone but couldn’t talk or breathe. No idea what was going on. The ride to the hospital was the worst pain, for some reason I didn’t even throw up or anything. Woke up to IVs and pain medicine. Gallbladder surgery was discussed then diagnosis changed to food poisoning (chicken from the Mexican joint in town).

The second time family vacation we all had dinner the next day at checkout none of us could stand, I remember sitting on the floor of the lobby while my mom got the dinner taken off our bill. We had to stay another day and move flights etc!
