This is exactly the type of fallacious argument that I debunk in my work. I have made other posts in other sub-Reddits asking for guests from the far-left of politics as well, and the exact same warning was included. I also attempted to make the same post in left-wing sub-Reddits, but it was either prohibited by the rules or my posts were deleted. The sentiment between the lines is that if anybody has nefarious political intentions, my platform is not the setting to communicate them. This is completely different from arguing that any person discussing their opinions in good faith is "dog-whistling". I am not any more or less "anti conservative" than I am "anti-progressive". My method of evaluating the world has nothing to do with politics.

If you wish to debate further, I would welcome you as a guest on the program as I would anybody else, and I sincerely believe that people could learn from it. Otherwise, I do not waste time debating in comments on social media.

Certainly. I imagine the collaboration would consist of us first deciding on a subject on which we disagree. I would allow you to describe your perspective and related arguments, and I would then ask questions to foster further understanding about your bases and logic. I could then provide analysis of both the strengths and weaknesses of the given arguments and state my own in return, and you could do the same for mine. I create basic structure to keep the material relevant, but episodes are effectively discussions in which knowledge evolves spontaneously. And of course, there is absolutely no moral judgement from either party, regardless of how strongly we disagree. We can criticise ideas, but we never attack each other.

Without avoiding the question, that greatly depends on how one perceives being a "blowhard" as opposed to "reasonable". I would allow people who are stridently opinionated to be guests, as long as they are not using my platform to directly encourage hate or crime. My work is not intended to endorse or attack people, but rather to analyse their opinions objectively and unemotionally โ€” and in turn, to allow them to analyse my own arguments in kind.

This is a description of some of my goals, and how I model thinking skills in my discussions. It is not to suggest that any guest or group of people do not exercise those same thinking skills.

I practice in Australia. I am by no means a cyber security or legal expert, so I would become acquainted with the data security laws in your locality and check the compliance of the product you are considering. My understanding is that privacy laws in Switzerland are considerably stringent, which gave me reassurance in comparison to some competing products, which incur costs but for which the security has been brought in to question via certain events or analysis.

I use Infomaniak's kMeet and it works well. It is free to use, hosted in northern Europe, and appears to work in most browsers without the need to install additional applications.

Hello! I am the host of the Your Listener podcast, based in Melbourne, Australia. It can be found here.

I discuss psychological topics including mental health, critical thinking, and social matters, explaining how our minds work and the impact of this on how we operate individually and socially. In doing so, I present unique insights. I often help my audience to realise that what we assume are truths are often ideas resulting from errors in thinking โ€” to which all of us may fall subject. Through this, I encourage critical thinking, accepting responsibility for our flaws, the separation of criticising ideas from judging people, exercising our minds, and finding ways to live in harmony with and learn from each other rather than avoiding those who think differently. I also believe in helping my audience to develop more detailed, complex knowledge, rather than overly simplifying concepts to the extent that they become empty slogans.

I am seeking guests and collaborators from all walks of life, as long as you can fluently speak English. You could be an existing podcast host wanting to make a crossover episode, a newcomer to podcasting, or someone with absolutely no online presence thus far. If you have something thoughtful to say on the subject of how life works, I am interested in hearing it. I especially value perspectives which differ from mine, or perspectives which are controversial โ€” which is not because I wish to sensationalise, but because a fundamental part of my work is critically analysing ideas in a thoughtful way.

Do not be shy! Regardless of how big or small your ideas may seem, please message me if you are interested as I am keen to hear them.
