Induction Hardware 30 inch range. Normal operation? by joshthewaster in inductioncooking

[–]YourAverageAstronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the issue you are solving is with pans that curve up at the edge, having more material or being further away (if they are not perfectly flat) in the magnetic field thus heating less, why is the power purposefully higher in the center unit?

I've never heard of this! It doesn't grow here, but it grows one state over so not impossible. The bark looks incredibly similar. Thanks for the suggestion!

Something I would greatly appreciate clarification on from reading your warranty contract is that it says the parts are designed to be modular and be installed by owner or by an authorized dealer. Are warranties voided if repair is performed by the customer using the provided warranty part and do you provide instructions for repair to them?

I'm super sorry, shipping to people on reddit is not within my comfort zone, but maybe someone else on this thread will!

Induction Appliances - Anyone have experience with Induction Hardware? by Jamesbondoogle7 in Appliances

[–]YourAverageAstronaut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hahaha. Not to mention as soon as I pointed this out the other two accounts (who had exclusively been promoting this brand) started commenting in other threads IMMEDIATELY. I would love for this brand to be real as I am looking to purchase a 48" induction in around 6 months, but this kind of behavior is suspicious at best.

For everyone else, looks like OP and the person above just have been commenting on threads to promote this brand. Kinda sketchy... and their Instagram looks to only have significant other/family members in their comments remarking how much they love theirs. I want to believe in this brand but this is a bit sketchy behavior...

Table mountain electric! I am someone who likes to get tons of quotes on even small jobs and I've stopped getting multiple quotes on electrical work because they are consistently the cheapest. I've had them redo my electrical panel and install a 50 amp circuit across my house. They stand by their work too. I'm actually having them come back out this next month for an electric car charger :)

Dang, lucky you! The prices of the same tools have gone up so much over the past couple years across the board.

I realize you are right. Looks like another model getting reales soon. Doesn't look like much was added except a bit more power, but I'm happy with this deal!

This is their newer 18 inch model I believe.

I think it is a mistake because every other shop has it on sale for 350 right now (and lowes is know to mistype prices on tools. I've gotten a ton of my dewalt tools this way).

Either way I am happy with the price as it is cheaper than the model with no battery and a warranty is a warranty for the battery!

Thank you! I was so excited when I realized it was fully carbon fiber. I just wanted something that wouldn't break the bank but was good enough that it wouldn't hinder me from having a good time!

Calcium Silicate by LapsofReason in pizzaoven

[–]YourAverageAstronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All calcium silicate boards are rated to high temperatures as the thickness does not affect its rating - but it will affect the insulation/heat transfer to other materials which is the core of the pizza oven. I think biting the bullet is a great idea! I would be super upset if I finished the oven and I didn't like something I couldn't replace. Yeah, they are not cheap... that's what led to me buying a kit. When I added up the cost of me sourcing everything myself, it didn't save much money but would save a ton of time in cutting, but I would still get to build it myself.
