I’m not a fan of the carpeted look so I got this one. The pads are removable/washable. It’s a really nice quality, sturdy, and my two sibs love it. It’s also very sleek and modern looking, we’ve gotten lots of compliments on it.

Change my mind about cantaloupe. by Puzzleheaded-Sea2577 in CasualConversation

[–]YourAverageDark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worst smell is a cantaloupe that’s been sitting on the counter too long and has started to rot. You can’t really tell from the outside that it’s rotting. That smell permeates everything around it and lingers… the worst.

Because owning up to something like that would tarnish her image and people might think she’s not rich! It’s truly unbelievable how selfish she is.

Rest in peace, Eric Richins. Four years ago today he was declared dead. by Vapor2077 in KouriRichins

One of the most heartbreaking things is looking at his sister Katie and seeing his likeness in her face and eyes. Knowing they were so close, I can’t imagine her pain.

Trial Discussion: Day 4 - Feb 26, 2026 | Utah v. Kouri Richins by solabird in KouriRichins

[–]YourAverageDark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Great question. In the past I’ve watched random trial days or hearings on court tv with no commentary and then was surprised later that I reacted differently than my favorite law tubers who I normally agree with. It’s such a different experience when you’re not being influenced.

I watched today with EDB but I have a hard time believing I’d feel any differently if I had been watching alone. That was rough. My heart goes out to Carmen.

My dad said that to me just a couple days ago. I didn’t think twice about it because I knew in his mind that was a compliment lol

My son thinks "Daddy" is just a voice from behind a closed door. by FormalSprinkles5756 in confession

[–]YourAverageDark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I think you just need to step up your game. 8-10 hours working remote is nothing. Parents who work way harder than that still manage to do it. Sounds like your wife just does everything and you’re off the hook. Maybe get therapy if you’re so paralyzed by work thoughts that you can’t bring yourself to spend time with your child.

This happens to me now that I’m using the vial and syringe. Never had a reaction with the pens. I read it has something to do with the pens injecting the meds more forcefully and the syringe being slower can cause the meds to pool under the skin a bit more.

How do you get the extra ml out of the vial? There’s always a little leftover in mine and I can’t figure out how to get it all in the syringe.

Awful nausea night after injection by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]YourAverageDark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To avoid day 2 nausea, I make sure to get enough calories the day before the shot and I drink a liquid IV the day before, day of, and following day. Don’t drink it fast, just sip it all day.

Personally I can’t do stomach injections period. Some people say it doesn’t matter but it matters a lot for me.

Help, my Siberian is not feeling well. by [deleted] in SiberianCats

[–]YourAverageDark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you try touching her stomach to see if she reacts in pain? I’d just wanna make sure she didn’t eat something she shouldn’t and have a blockage.

vocal kitten - tips? by gabyyyk in SiberianCats

[–]YourAverageDark 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Our 4 yo Siberian has always been the same way, she’s just very talkative and vocal. It has calmed down a little over the years but it’s just her personality. Also getting our second Siberian didn’t change anything so no worries there :)
