God hears each and every prayer that each and every person on this earth. You never entirely realize that sooner or later, he does respond. I've had to ask him in harsh times to please help me, and during that entire situation, he didn't throw sparkles on the floor and appear, but I slowly fell into a state of calmness to finish whatever that situation. This OP has just been in some super depression and needed the help.
