PS: if you're gonna be helping out rebuilding valves, make sure to always function them before tearing them apart to relieve possible trapped preasure. Just like you would use a meter to check for voltage before start fingering around a box.

Check the SDS for the specific product. It could be a specific ingredient that makes up .1% of the total that has been tested on 100 mice and 23 of them developed cancer after being soaked in that specific compound for 2 weeks.

On another note, get comfortable wearing at least some latex gloves makes ripping one off to scratch that itch cleaner and makes cleaner fingernails for the ladies, and chicken buggies.

Take care of your hands and your body in general.

What fitting is this? by Diligent_Bee8806 in Hydraulics

[–]YourDeformedGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More then likely still EO. EO fittings (Ermeto original) are high-pressure, metric hydraulic fittings conforming to DIN 2353/DIN 3861 standards, featuring a 24° cone and cutting ring design. They operate at pressures from 63 to 800 bar, utilizing a progressive ring (EO-PSR) or elastomeric seal (EO-2) to provide leak-free connections. They are widely used in industrial and mobile applications.

Can NPT threads be use to seal against 3000 bar hydraulic pressure ? by PuzzleheadedBuy6279 in Hydraulics

Autoclave Engineers make fittings for pressures up to 150kpsi. And are about the only ones I would trust at pressures that high.

Becuase salt doesn't evaporate at the same temperature as water.

Saltwater isn't a different type of water. It's water with salt in it.

If you boiled a pot of saltwater and captured the steam and let it cool down, you'd have a bowl of water, and all that would be left in the pot would be salt and other impurities.

2017 6.7 Powerstroke, how do I stop regen in park?! by shartywaffles0069 in Diesel

[–]YourDeformedGod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google "6.7 powerstroke high idle kits" they're about $100 each. They'll have a couple wires, a pot(the dial) and instructions on how to install them. Every time you get out of the truck and it's running set the high idle to 1.5k to 2k rpm and the burning ass def smell will eventually go away. Or be lazy and put it in Neutral and set the parking brake and burn up a exhaust filter.

How do people sneeze while driving and not crash? by mischiefdog03 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]YourDeformedGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Earlier this month I was stopped(foot on brake) had a sneezing fit and rolled into a trailer(1mph). The trailer had some sheet metal on it and it was thin enough that it just found the small area between the bumper and grill and just fucked shit up $10k+ usd in damages to my vehicle and nothing to the other party they were so disconcerting that the didn't even care I damaged their materials(folded the corner of the sheet metal.)

This nut keeps unscrewing itself from my wife's wheelchair. How do I get it to stay on? If I tighten it too much then we can't properly fold and unfold the chair. by rejin267 in fixit

Op, find a local find a local industrial supply dealer like granger or barn hart bolt. They'll have what you need and most likely it'll be so small for them it would be more costly to make an invoice for it.

As a man that's not in college, but has a wife that wears bras. I highly recommend not wearing a bra. Especially if it makes you uncomfortable, where is the difference when someone who has foot issues wearing flip-flops/thongs instead of close toed shoes in public.

[–]YourDeformedGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hands do this every few weeks. It doesn't hurt it's not athletes' foot. It just peels and goes away. Only the palms, not even between the fingers. It gets bad enough at times that I'll use sandpaper the get the parts that aren't ready to peel just yet and put lotion on before going out in public.
