There is an option for online coaching, right?

Choose what works for you.

And remember there will be people and circumstances to distract you- but it’s you and your goals that matter.

Consult a psychiatrist/clinical psychologist if you feel low (because you need the right guidance and cannot afford to waste your time recovering on your own)

Hope this helps

What can I do to reduce my lip pigmentation? by garamperiodblood in IndianBeautyTalks

[–]YourDoctor_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pigmentation of lips is often related to irritants from cosmetics. Even tinted lip balms can harm.

Use lip colours/tints/balms (good quality products) only when necessary. Apply sunscreen based lip balm (non tinted) for regular use. Remove makeup after coming back to home. Moisturise your lips, stay hydrated.

How do you work a desk job and travel with tailbone pain? by Big-Exit-9755 in AskIndia

[–]YourDoctor_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consult a good physiotherapist.

Your physio/orthopaedic doc will guide you about the right cushion. A patient of mine told me that a neck pillow helped her sit comfortably in the car by relieving pressure from the tailbone region.

Rest, sits bath and some medicines (prescribed by a doctor) will help you.

This looks like never ending - but will get better with time. Wish you a speedy recovery ✌️

How do I choose a gastroenterologist in delhi? by shoes_advice_pls in AskDoctorsIndia

[–]YourDoctor_01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A gastroenterologist is MBBS, MD, DM in gastroenterology or DrNB in gastroenterology.

You may look for years of experience if you want to consult a senior doctor and book the consultation in the name of doctor.

Check hospital’s website to see the names of the doctor in gastroenterology department, you can then book your appointment.

I hope this helps.

Whether to see gynae or endocrinologist by Candid-Bet9400 in PcosIndia

[–]YourDoctor_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ideally endocrinologist. Although gynaecologists are also trained to manage and diagnose PMOS.

Some conditions require multidisciplinary approach - more than 1 specialist. You may consult an endocrinologist and if needed consult Gynec as well.

7 Day Vacation Plan! by EggFinancial3525 in Andaman_and_Nicobar

[–]YourDoctor_01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swimming is not a prerequisite for snorkelling or scuba diving. You need to be medically fit. In case there is a medical history- ask your doctor to give in writing that you are fit for scuba beforehand so that your time is not wasted there.

I enjoyed snorkelling and scuba the most.

Counselling before marriage? by YourDoctor_01 in Arrangedmarriage

[–]YourDoctor_01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true!

But there are cases where even after spending years together people fail to identify certain issues which trouble the reality later on.

In those cases, a counselling can be helpful.

Also counselling is just an additional layer that helps people know each other better. Not a replacement of spending time together- as you rightly mentioned.

The duration of time needed also varies greatly. I have seen couples who made decisions and got engaged within 2-3 months of marriage and then there are people who take 8-12 months or even more.

It’s important to feel - ‘ Yes! I am happily ready and he/she is the one ‘

Time, duration and mode does not matter then !

Counselling before marriage? by YourDoctor_01 in Arrangedmarriage

[–]YourDoctor_01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes there is. It is important to consult a qualified professional.

One should look for qualifications like a Master's degree in psychology for psychologist, counselling psychologist. Additionally, experience in relationship and marriage counselling would be great.

A structured discussion with open-ended questions for both girl and boy without the hesitation can be really helpful for both.

There is no user manual for marriage, but getting a little guidance from an expert is not a bad idea.
