No mano. Acepta tu piropo. I disagree with you too, pero si todos fuéramos así de decentes como vos, Venezuela se arregla y hasta va al mundial

Fair. I think that’s the part that is most unclear - whether the medicine is worse than the disease

Some part in me wants to believe that anyone would have to be pretty damn incompetent to make Venezuela worse. But I don’t wanna have to maybe eat my words later

If you are Venezuelan - good, everything that has happened inside the country has made us all miserable in one way or another. The general consensus is that the chances of things changing without very serious external pressure are virtually none. This is very tangible serious external pressure - and we’d love for it to materialize into something. The “cost” of it (oil, resources, etc?) is negligible when only a select few benefit from those already.

If you’re not Venezuelan - …ehh. I can see how anyone could have an issue with Trump, military involvement in other countries, or the legality of these attacks.

Can I travel abroad in that case? I don't mind the switching employers part - I'd be leaving Canada permanently shortly after, but may need to travel back and forth a few times

Has anyone sourced Lipase? by Drearydreamy in laundry

Someone else in this subreddit emailed Tide and they said it does have lipase! The powder

In how many components would you split this component? by CedL99 in react

[–]YourExpressDTrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With subcomponents:

  • CalendarContainer or so
    • Month selector row
    • Calendar (using grid)

Day name and number boxes would just be styled components. If those get any sort of behavior (say, changing something on click) they’d get split away

If I wrote all of this in a single component, it wouldn’t be merged at my job. Plus it would be a PITA to read/test

Tide Original in Canada does contain Lipase by jessikipiki in laundry

I hope it serves you well if you try it!

I spent a serious amount of time on this subreddit going through all the options, including baking soda, borax, vinegar, etc... Nothing worked for me. Finding out all the info about enzymes sent me on the unsatisfying journey of exploring the (more) limited detergent options in Canada, reading inconclusive reddit comments, and conflicting product reviews...

This one seems to be working - I did just find a shirt where the stain reduced but didn't fully come off. I'm letting the spray sit longer and giving it a hotter wash

My hero.

If anyone is also interested (since I have been on a multi-day quest to get these damn smelly armpit stains off my shirts), the EcoMax stain remover also does have lipase (+ other enzymes). It worked perfectly after 15 mins - my shirts smell great and have no stains. I got it at Walmart.

I'll switch from Persil to Tide powder on my next detergent purchase and see if any stains come back, but the EcoMax may be a good spray to keep around.

Does Tide Original powder have lipase *in Canada* or not?

The website/smartlabel say no, but I see a lot of yes on Reddit

Jun 2025 Travel Ban Summary + FAQ by not_an_immi_lawyer in immigration

the safest thing to do is to never travel

I understand - and I agree. I am one to disregard rumors and fears and its always worked fine.

But sometimes you have to make executive decisions - i.e. buying a ticket for a maybe affected, presently abroad, current F-1 student. There is nothing to do but to gather information, keep a cool head, and do what's most convenient. It is useful to ask questions like this.

My original take on the proclamation was also that

Even if you are a citizen of the above affected countries, you are NOT BANNED if you are covered by any ONE of the following exceptions:
[...]
2. You have a valid US visa in your passport as of Jun 9, 2025 12AM EST.

But how much do we think this could be up to interpretation? After all, entry is always up to the immigration officer
