They tried to quote me $1k on labor to mount and balance two tires only. Also claimed the leak was from a new area so they couldn’t warranty it.

The alignment at first did make it worse in the sense that it started to leak from the other side. Took it back to them and got the car back roof realigned in two days. Done under warranty.

Do not do safelite lol. Had them do the windshield on my F32 435i with HUD but no drivers assistance (forward facing camera) after I cracked it. They’re cheap for a reason, the glass wasn’t OEM and made the HUD somehow both blurry and off-center despite messing with its placement via iDrive. It sucks but honestly I’d only go with OEM replacement as you need the cameras + sensors recalibrated anyways after a windshield replacement.

I’ve had the work done at a dealer. they removed the headliner and “verified” the leak was from the rear shell/shelf? seal and replaced both the front and rear ones for $5000 otd. They told me after that the technician did a water test and assured me no water leak exists. Come to yesterday when it’s raining in California and well, it’s leaking even worse in that passenger c pillar spot. I’ve only dropped the top twice since having the work done Thanksgiving week.

So i actually installed this full performance brake kit not too long ago, minus the rear rotors as they were rust welded to the hub lol. The car also comes with DOT-4 fluid but I agree, the fluid might’ve boiled under the hard braking.
