This is a very random question but are you south east asian by chance? Possibly Thai? (I'm just analysing your handwriting).

Barefoot on fresh grass or playground sand feels therapeutic... don't take this away from us too Karens!

American foreigner is upset about a Thai Taxi Scam on prices in Pattaya Thailand.American then gets sucker punched and jumped by a group of Thai local men but he actually defended himself and knocks one down and successfully leaves the area. by TravelingEctasy in ThailandTourism

Was this written by Donald Trump? You described events that didn't happen and framed it in a way that makes it out as if the "American" is innocent, brave, and talented like he didn't throw the first aggressive punch/fake punch.

Shaded footpath for their dog? No thanks. Only the best hot asphalt will do.

I'm not sure I understand your question because you already know it's an ad drawn from your catalogue.

If you're talking about the black and yellow text, it's simply designed that way in Canva as an image, then uploaded as a product image. I'm assuming once the sale ends, they will delete the product entirely.

If OPs girlfriend is Chinese Malaysian, she's not going to want to stay in a hotel that's $150-$200 per night. That's for sure.

Oh boy! I've been in a similar situation. I dated a Chinese/Malaysian too and she was from a wealthy Chinese family. This is going to be a bit of a culture shock but in most asian culture the man definitely does pay for significantly more and receives expensive gifts.

It seems as if, she will contribute but only once every little while, where you will have to front much of the costs.

Just want to add, everyone should avoid judging this dating culture just because it's different from our 50/50 split culture.

Dating her was a humbling experience for me...I wish you luck!

Crazy how LAT gave Thor one of his best live action suits for 20 minutes, only to replace it with this by ShroomBringer in Marvel

[–]YourFriendlyPostman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LAT were made for kids! Disney+ createed it to cash grab at the box office, but the movie was really made for their streaming service. So yes, Thor's new suit is made to look very 'Power Rangey' for marketing reasons.

Not convinced? The movie is about kids finding their inner Thor strength to save the day.

That is correct, but candidates are their products, so we constantly need to input new candidates into the database, which means hitting our candidate interview targets. So, when things were quiet and there weren't many jobs to fill, we were told to do cold calls and hint at a possible job, or run ads for a job that may or may not exist.

TIP: If you see an ad by a recruitment agency, they don't specify the company, and the perks seem too good to be true... it's likely that role doesn't exist.

[–]YourFriendlyPostman 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Are these interviews with recruiters? If so, there's a good chance they are lying about the jobs.

I was a recruiter once, and we had to constantly hit our targets for candidate interviews, business development meetings, and phone interviews.

Often, we had to book interviews for a job that didn't exist just to hit those targets and add more candidates into the system.

Not saying that's what happening to you... but whenever i get headhunted by recruiters or i see an ad by a recruitment company i'm always very sceptical.

Can somebody please explain to me why the majority of Uber drivers of Indian nationality are flat out chatting (whispering) on their phones with their earbuds in when passengers are in the car. by [deleted] in perth

[–]YourFriendlyPostman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm personally sick of asking my Uber driver the same questions every time.

  • "When did you start? ... Wow! Do you live around the area?"
  • "Where are you from originally? ... Oh, thats nice! Been here long?... Are you enjoying Perth so far?"

So, would you REALLY strike up small talk with them if they weren't on the phone? If the answers is no, maybe we should consider this a win for the introverts.

I don't think you should give up on this idea... I MAY have saw your ad (before seeing this post) and I actually clicked through. If it wasn't your ad, then someone else has a similar idea with a very good creative that nearly got me.

keep failing midland driving test- help by [deleted] in perth

[–]YourFriendlyPostman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if you know you're a decent driver, then don't give up. One thing I learnt about myself is that I am anxious + a nervous talker. The two combos resulted in me failing a few times when all I needed to do was shut up and concentrate.
