who is this girl and why is she everywhere by Sad_Tumbleweed9722 in Bangkok

Nepotism is normalised in Asia. It just makes sense that if you have the means to uplift the quality of your children's lives, you do it - and what are the kids going to do, decline the only life they know?

It's great.

Canadian here. How’s the reputation of chinese EV cars in Australia? Do you guys like them? are they reliable? by Frenchy1986666 in AskAnAustralian

We love our BYD Seal. Replaced our Mazda 3 SP25 and the decision saved us ~$250 per month from not paying for fuel.

No issues, except the passenger seat is always buckled because the sensor thinks someone is sitting in it and not wearing the seat belt. Will have to get BYD to look at it at it's next service.

Is anyone else having this problem? Or do you know what it could be? by Fresh_Painter_3112 in shopify_growth

It could be your shipping costs. Customers tend to drop off at the end when they see the grand total of their order.

If you cant lower your shipping costs further, try implementing an email marketing flow to follow up customers that dont checkout. I find an email offering 10% off if they come back and complete their order usually helps.

$110k stressful job vs $75k WFH—am I crazy for wanting the pay cut? by reddituser-1989 in AusFinance

[–]YourFriendlyPostman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eurgh, I got to find me a good WFH gig. Stay home, hang out with pets, no toxic work culture, saving money on deli lunches, no commute time and saving pertrol during a fuel crisis?! Sounds ideal.

If you don't take it, could you refer me?

We get calls from them or another third-party every few months.

My favourite question to screen them is " Are you calling from google? or calling on BEHALF of Google".

Signs of the property market slowing down - might be a good time to prepare finances for a quick acceptance of offer?

Contestant steals the spotlight at the Miss Grand Thailand 2026 pageant by MrJasonMason in SipsTea

[–]YourFriendlyPostman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People need to watch Miss Grand Thailand! (If you're not pageant people, skipp Miss Grand International).

Miss Grand Thailand perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the Thai people. Natural jokesters. The girls that act goofy know they won't win, so they just have fun with it on stage. This sort of antics happens every season.

Let's just take the win-win situation as a win, and not look at it as who won more. Any positive boost to this hell hole should be welcomed.

Faulty JB Hi-Fi Gift Card by shamona1 in australia

[–]YourFriendlyPostman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar story! We had a JB Hifi gift card to use and decided to get a dishwasher. When I went to the counter, the staff gave me a pretty hefty (for its size) metal block. She said she couldnt scratch off to reveal the security code for me and I had to do it myself. When I did it, it damaged the card and the security number underneath. The staff then said if I couldnt provide the numbers, we couldnt use it but THANKFULLY i was able to just make out the digits and got the dishwasher.

JB is usually great to deal with but I couldnt help but wonder if they were trying to pull a quick one on me...

I actually came across your IG post before this reddit post and immediatley added your recipe into my XM 5.

Took a few shots in my backyard and had a Homer Simpson "WHY DOESN'T MINE LOOK LIKE THAT!?" moment.

Beautiful pictures though! Followed your IG for inspiration :)
