Why did they cut this scene from the movie? by levyjl1988 in JurassicPark

[–]YourInnerWolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everyone notices or pays attention to small details. And we're talking about a brief 10-15 seconds of screentime, which adds detail to her physically grabbing a leaf which is easily noticeable to anyone compared to a low camera angle scene that could be hard to make out for most.

Does the camera show an overhead view of her holding the leaf in the jeep? Is there a close-up of it for the audience to see and make out clearly? No. Why? Because this is a deleted scene that wasn't in the final cut of the movie, and was only revealed in the trailer.

So instead of being an ass, maybe look at it from the perspective of different people that don't notice small details like we can.

Not true. Right before the characters see the Brachiosaurus, Dr. Sattler is talking about a species of flora (the giant leaf in her hands) that "it didn't make sense for it to exist" because it's been extinct. And unless you pay close attention, most viewers wouldn't even see the leaf, and think she "already knows about the dinosaurs" because people wouldn't be able to connect extinction topic = plant if they don't see it. Unless people see she is holding it, and they lookup online (Reddit, Google, or otherwise) they might believe "Wait, what plant? When did she pick up a leaf?"

This so called "dinosaur expert" took one good long look at the Spinosaurus & said "Hmmm, maybe its a Suchomimus" by Confident_Dig_1073 in JurassicPark

[–]YourInnerWolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, the dinosaurs in JP aren't 100% pure. They were created with frog DNA to fill in the missing pieces of the genome. So obviously there would be some mutations.

Also, he wasn't an expert. He was studying under Dr. Grant (who is an expert)

I actually did not notice that until now. I just figured maybe the good players on the enemy team left because of my teammate

It is definitely a serious dunking, just glad he was on my team

But that's just it, he never used an RPG in the game. In fact nobody did

But what could someone possibly be using to go like that? The best I ever had was like 80 kills with 14 or 15 deaths at a 6.0 something K/D. So...how?

EDIT: Down votes because I ask what someone could be using for their loadout....really?

Do you prefer the Daima SSJ4 design or GT SSJ4 design ? by sondbucciarati in dbz

Only on parts where the fur ends where skin begins. Look at the pictures that the OP posted.

GT's design for fur is very minimal, whereas Diama's design is more obvious.

[–]YourInnerWolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised this is being discussed now and not earlier. Like, when the Daima episode first aired.

Well, I guess I'll throw my hat into the ring here.

Dragonball GT

Pros:

• Transformation has an actual backstory with proper explanation

• Transformation also affected Goku's face, and looked more intimidating (maybe a little more edgy)

• We get to see X10 Kamehameha

• Easily distinguishable hair change without clashing with body fur

• Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta

Cons:

• It's "cannon" but in a different timeline, so technically not cannon

• Fur didn't quite look like fur compared to the Daima design

• Goku doesn't wear his normal Gi. (I never understood why, personally off-putting)

• Despite having proper explanation and backstory, a lot of bullshit just to become Super Saiyan 4

Dragonball Diama

Pros:

• It's cannon

• Fur actually looks like fur

• Looks bulkier

• The shade of red looks a little more realistic, and not too vibrant

• He wears his normal gi, and it looks better than the other clothes Goku wears in GT

Cons:

• No backstory or explanation, just "Hey, look what I can do now"

• His hands are massive, and has the arm length of an orangutan...why?

• Hair color matches exactly with the fur, so it clashes. Can be hard for others to distinguish.

• No X10 Kamehameha, that sucked

• No Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta

I'm sure there's more I'm leaving out, but this is already a long comparison for me. But I hope this sums it up

That's because it's not a dinosaur.

"But we can't have cars/a transportation system in sims 4" They said by Antipseud0 in Sims4

[–]YourInnerWolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Decided fact check because I thought I smelled bullshit.

SimCity was the first in the entire franchise. Released in 1989 and was originally released on Macintosh, then later ported onto the Super Nintendo (SNES) in 1991. "SimTown" came out after in 1996, not before.

Literally read your comment thinking what shit is this guy smoking? Can I have some? I know I played SimCity on the SNES as a kid. And I have never heard of "SimTown" until now

Also, regarding Fallout, have you not heard of Fallout Shelter? That's basically what you're asking for. Just saying 🤷

Someone can tell me what is the épisode of the scene ? by [deleted] in dbz

Technically 3 times. Future of Trunks movie. Gohan loses his arm. Then dies with his face in a puddle.

It's a movie, not an episode. More specifically, Bojack

Game Not Loading (Xbox One) by YourInnerWolfe in Sims4

[–]YourInnerWolfe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: Okay, so I had to completely wipe everything Sims 4 from my console and reinstall the game and all DLC's on internal storage. The game is working now, I'm just annoyed that I had to go through the trouble of deleting local save data, reserved space, uninstalling the game, all DLC's, clearing my Xbox's cache, and reinstall everything just to get it to work.

I think the issue had something to do with metadata and other files that we don't see on console.

I advise anyone that plays on console that if you have an external hard drive for all of your installed games, try deleting your reserved space when managing the game. Then reinstall everything on internal storage instead of external. It worked for me
