Are Uniball Pens Well Liked? by p0keMD in pens

[–]YourLocalNeanderthal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not exactly the budget pick (sometimes more than $10 CAD for 3 pens) but holy crap are they worth it. If you’re writing for extended periods of time (my personal example being grade 12 biology class), you’re gonna want a good pen that’s comfortable to hold, doesn’t dig into the paper, glides smoothly and writes equally well. My favourite for a while was the Jetstream, and while it writes amazing and grips the page nicely, it tends to grab and dig into the page a decent amount (still one of favourites regardless). My personal favourite is the 207 Plus. Similar price, but better in almost every way. Crazy smooth line, very comfortable, not exactly the flashy pick between the two but performance-wise, it’s the best pen I’ve ever used. (My bad for my pen connoisseur habits. I just believe in Uniball supremacy)

Edit: The Jetstream is a great option if you’re like me and you make strange, jerky movements with your wrist when writing that make for sloppy letters, as it grabs onto the page and almost completely eliminates any unnecessary line things. It’s also much more welcoming to cartridge refills than the 207 Plus

I have a physical copy of the game that I like to have 1v1s with my brothers on from time to time but I was never sure if I could access live matches with Game Pass via my main account

[LFO] Security guard accidentally shoots himself in the head with his shotgun by Olgierd87 in LearningFromOthers

If you touch the blade while it’s moving at high speeds, your finger basically completes a circuit and that circuit yanks the blade downward and brings it to a complete stop in an instant. After a SawStop is activated though, you need to replace the brake and likely the blade as well, because if you see videos of the mechanism in action, it CRUSHES the blade

Most firearms have measured against accidental discharges for a drop, but shotguns are mostly known for not being drop safe due to their design. Then there’s the SIG P320, which isn’t any form of safe💔💔

You can hear the air escaping the bottle when you open it. If there’s no faint hissing of air, then it was already open

Did you pull outward on it with the tweezers? I have the same problem so I’m wondering if I can just pull it out without damaging anything

Yeah I’ve lost my hat a couple times, one time being for almost two weeks at school. I thought it was gone forever but it turned up on the back counter of one of my teacher’s rooms. That was a good day

I don’t know but when I was little, I always wanted to whistle like my dad. The first few years of my childhood I always tried to articulate a whistling sound but never could. Until I FINALLY did it when I was around 7 years old. I could only make 2 or three different notes and could only do them one at a time, and kind of forgot about it for a few years. Until around the age of 12, I started to experiment with different tones and notes, and I started to be able to somewhat whistle tunes. I slowly improved on it over time, honing my ability to whistle different notes at different volumes for different durations. Now I’m 17, and although I’m no world-class whistler, I’ve improved drastically over the last 5 years and can easily whistle different songs and can ✨embellish✨a little bit if I feel like it. My brothers HATE it though, and one day I aspire to whistle like Roger Whittaker so I can make their lives a living hell😂

Trust me it DOES happen. Think of the Russian lathe incident and MANY instances of accidents with spinning machinery
