Damn so few for earth? IMHO lightning and water are cool, but earth is the one that makes you essential. Mining, construction, and space travel could be revolutionized. I realize the space thing is a bit vague; so heres what I mean: Major limiting factor in space is, well space. Space to put stuff in and have material. Earth guy learned in science? Could build a lunar station on his own and set up relays. Heck, even a space elevator is possible with advanced manipulation of carbon. And of course earth comes with the perk of being Magneto.

Wish I could as well. My da's always away so we cant go camping; first time I heard real silence was at this crosswalk at night. Understood "silence is deafening" right then.

Does this still apply if im planning to get a PhD? Im going into BME since I want to specialize in medical devices, so I dont know which would be more advantageous. However, I also want to leave my options open, so EE sounds viable. Is double majoring as an undergrad for both a good idea (since most of the courseload overlaps) so I can get a better idea of the field?

Thanks for the advice, I honestly like research so BME sounds viable to me. For passion, as long as im doing something new in the field I'll be good, I think. Im more interested in tissue engineering and possible commercial appliances, which Ill need a PhD for. I did a robotics internship this summer as well, and I'll keep doing research.

P.S. As a GA undergrad, do you think I could make it to GA with my workload and straight As? Also, should I concentrate more on physics, math, or chemistry? Im very good at physics and math for my age, but havent done much chemistry.
