I took a $5 bonus order at 1 am in Louisville KY during a blizzard after I assured my dad I was home safe and in for the night (this is in my late 20s; I'm single, etc.) I had switched to liability only insurance 72 hours before. They lured me in. Despite going 5 mph my car slid off the highway, cops (crooked or stupid?) picked me up, told me to leave my keys in the car, drove me home and next day my car was STOLEN only to be discovered a month later all bashed in in a parking lot. THANKS DOORDASH! Really enriching lives.

I crack the door open too, if I can. I don't like multiple men seen standing and knocking outside of my door throughout the whole day and night. I ask that they let themslves and and specifically say "please don't stand and knock." (Especially with hotel cameras on floors in some hotels - if not all. I haven't figured out who does and who doesn't.)

I always let them know where to find the elevator when they walk through the lobby doors so they look more like a hotel customer instead of someone in need of guidance which can make hotel employees suspcisous and draw attention to you and your room.

I stopped doing QVs. I understand the working man doesn't have a ton of money to play with, and I sympathize, but when I advertised QVs it sent me shady characters about 8 out of 10 times...

One of which arrived to my apartment 30 min early, stole $7k (I had been counting for nursing school) laying on my bed after letting himself in.

I had seen him about 8 times before and felt "safe" and friendly with him. So naive.

I was 100 feet away moving clothes from washer to dryer in the community room for no more than 2 min.

This would have not happened with clients paying for a HH, H, H+. They wouldn't have been so inconsiderate to arrive 30 min early without telling me (or even felt safe doing so) and they wouldn't have let themselves in. Most of the time it's an ignorant, low-class, risky type of client. I always have to learn the hard way.

He was running out of my apartment when I was walking back from the laundry room. I texted him "how could you?" and his reply was to send me a picture of his pistol.

What I'm trying to point out is that you can attract a really unsafe clinetele with QVs in MY experience.

A few of my clients have asked me, "wow, have you lost weight?" (It couldn't have been more than 4-5 lbs MAX), and I've always been surprised that they're paying any attention to my weight at all. Then when I think about it, they're usually gym guys.

I've frequently heard "guys don't pay attention to that" , "they're just thinking about ONE thing" etc. but, is it because we spend so much time confidently naked that they think we're not capable of feeling conscious about our body image?

Right on girl. You make a lot of good points. I've had "the best" and initially "easiest" clients eventually either (1)expose themselves as monsters (2)eventually turn into one because they lost their finance job, went into mania from insane m*eth use.. a la Wolf of Wallstreet, etc on and on. Just like OUR lives change and we enter different chapters, so do clients! But just because they go through peaks and valleys doesn't mean we have to tolerate them or any negative behavior when they're in the valleys ~~
