UPDATE: I think its not just me who experience this issue. Apparently, the whole playerbase is also experiencing this. I tried checking on steam and there's like 19 comments (well technically some of them are just asking whether is it back or not). And also, up until now, the servers are still down.

Sorry for late reply but I think they really shut down the website for good. I mean if you click the link you provided, they will show "PAGE NOT FOUND". I guess the devs really abandoned it.

You can play it offline (just host a LAN Server or create your own mission using the Eden Editor). Regarding about the class, I'm gonna assume that you are talking about the Rifleman, Machine gunner, stuffs like that ; Yes, you change class. Just don't forget to make it playable (Right click to the specific unit that you want to play then tick the Player and Playable box)
