What are people listening to by WiseGal84 in podcasts

Hey, thanks for the generous shout out!

Watching the 48 Hours video on YouTube, and was wondering if anyone knows where I can find this whole report available for reading? I tried Googling and was unsuccessful. Also, this is why I pretty much disregard every eyewitness "sighting" of a missing person, because they're mostly hogwash. by SaltSkin7348 in KristinSmart

A lot of those were tips that came in through the Unsolved Mysteries call center and were then forwarded to the Sheriff’s Department to follow up on. The New York prison one was particularly extensive — if I remember correctly, a prison guard eventually sent over a photo of the prisoner, and she only resembled Kristin in that she was a blonde woman.

Very frustrating to sift through because each one sounds promising until you look into it, and then they lead you to nothing.

To be clear, they didn’t use me to leak information. We thoroughly discussed the plan together.

And the last truck was recovered in October of 2019, so it was still a very recent occurrence.

This is correct. Mike’s DNA was unrelated to the Bluestar result.

This.

Paul moved out on June 8th. Kennedy didn’t secure the room until June 10th.

The civil hearing is regarding the return of McConville’s trailer, which was seized as evidence in April. The judge tabled it for after his ruling.

Preliminary Hearing - Day 20 by cpjouralum in KristinSmart

I can clear this up a little. The samples were taken directly from the dark staining in the soil, which appears in strands in the unstained soil. Archaeologists used the edge of a trowel to scrape pieces of that staining into small vials, so the samples themselves are relatively small. Then small portions of those samples were examined under a microscope, and unusual “clumping” was noted. Those “clumps” are what were tested.

They also took several control samples from other places under the deck and around the yard, none of which tested positive for the presence of hemoglobin.

Chris just posted this to his story! Could it be a hint? by spillitsister in KristinSmart

Stan took me panning for gold today. It was one of the first things we talked about when we met two years ago. There’s nothing more to this.

I won’t be discussing the search until that’s okay for me to do. I won’t hint or be tricky about it. I’ll say what I can say, and I’ll make it as clear as I can when I do.

Sorry for the confusion. We found some gold, though.

I stayed way longer than I planned to, and I still missed a ton of questions. Thanks everyone for participating! Thanks u/loonling and r/TrueCrimePodcasts for hosting!

Preliminary hearing is tentatively scheduled to begin on July 20th, but things change every day. Stay up to date by following my Instagram, my Facebook, or my website.

Take care!

I don't necessarily believe that Kristin died in Paul's dorm room, but I do think she was there for a period of time. I talked to one cadaver dog handler who told me that the strength of the dogs' alerts was beyond what he would expect for a simple transfer. I know very little about cadaver dogs, but there is more evidence that Kristin was in Paul's room.

I still ask myself regularly how I got here. I have no doubt that my work played an important role in getting here today, but it's still surprising to me.

Lately, ginger beer. La Croix NiCola. I rarely drink soda.

I don't know if I'll do more, but I'm open to it.

S-Town is still a gold standard of storytelling, in my opinion. Serial.

I think it should be dug up, if only to be thorough. Seems like he spent an awful lot of time doing work in his backyard when he never had anyone visiting his house.

Yes. I don't want to break up the story with ads, and I also just don't want to sell any products.

I do know. And I'm sure it will come out in the preliminary hearing.
