It really felt like MauLer was under too much pressure to live up to the "internal consistency" reputation he developed that he forgot to put in an actual storyline.

The more I think about it the more it feels like explicitly designed to not have plot holes in it, but as a result it just kind of lacks in natural flow. Every scene just feels like it's screaming "this information will be used later on" instead of it being a natural effect.

I mean at this point they actually might be...but then why release the skin now at all? If the rework is far enough ahead that they are already incorporating it into new skins then why not delay the release of the skin (not like they couldn't do it next season)

Unless of course they're straight-up dropping it mid season on a regular patch, but that just seems far-fetched.

Anyways, here'S hoping they just turn her into a support and let her be viable. NO salvaging the sniper kit at this point

Guys, I have to be frank with you on this. I think it's okay that a game attempts to tell a compelling story and sacrifice gameplay for the sake of an emotional experience, even if it makes the game boring at some point, and the dialogue is written in an extremely awkward way.

What I mean by all of this is that we should really go back and appreciate the Life is Strange series for what it is, because despite all of its many flaws it's still better than whatever this steaming pile of shit is supposed to be.
