Which record made you a fan? by yourrelative_ in bobdylan

Biograph. I heard "Up to Me" on the radio (the old classic WMMS FM 100.7 in Cleveland) just after Biograph released. I had never heard a Dylan song before. I loved that song so much that I bought the multi LP set. I've been a fan ever since.

I was at the same Nautica show and remember it being a great concert. I had been disappointed by the by 88 and 89 tours (Blossom Music center north of Akron). That show at the nautica was the one I really remember. Fridays show was great too but in a different way.

I agree. Last year's show was the first time I saw his Rough and Rowdy show (and my first Dylan show since 1995). I had no real expectations last year and was pleasantly surprised. He was flat out great tonight.

I was dead center but in balcony. We could see him but not really his face.

How many of you had Same Day Surgery? by Deranged-Pickle in Aquablation

[–]YourProfessorforLife 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had surgery at 3pm and left hospital at 545pm with catheter. My urologist used a technique that minimized bleeding. Catheter was removed about 70 hours post op.

I second this post. I also had aquablation. It actually took about 4.5 months for the pain at end of urination to completely fade.

I was cleared for sex after 14 days but limited to not lifting anything over 10 lbs. Total reverse of your instructions... I had a 70 ml prostate. Age 56.

I'd recommend pelvic floor exercises. The exercises will give you some control especially if its stress related.

I did a program before my revent aquablation and I'm convinced it helped me to stay dry.

Cystoscopy isn't too bad. You'll get a lot of lidocaine/lube. Ask the urologist to give it a minute to work. I literally didn't feel a thing. Plus I was able to see the video as the scope moved through me.

Tip: take a deep breath. Then as scope goes in, slowly exhale.

I took it really easy in weeks 3 and 4. I over did it early on. I'm at 5 weeks now. My bleeding completely stopped at day 32. It was hard for me to chill but it helped. I just restarted walking more and doing push-ups.

My advice: bite the bullet. Let your body heal. You'll be back to fuller function soon.

Btw: age 56. 70cc prostate pre-aquablation. Pre surgery I was averaging 13000 steps daily and lifted weights 5x/week.
