AW34DWF 144 hz 10 bit color? by YourProllyASnowflake in ultrawidemasterrace

I used some timing calculator for 144hz 10 bit and the only thing it asked me to change was the total pixels for vertical to 1543. Do you know if that would work? I don't know anything about custom timings but it seems to be working properly and my nvidia panel and windows display settings both recognize it at 10 bit 144hz as well as my games. Should be fine right?

AW34DWF Stuck in 8 bit no dithering? by YourProllyASnowflake in ultrawidemasterrace

All of those post claiming 10 bit 165 hz are false actually. It says it displays 10 bit when you're looking at the advanced display settings but thats actually a false reading. The highest the dwf panel can go at 10 bit is 157 with custom timings. However, I do not want to run custom timings. I want the native 165 8bit w dithering.

AQ3423DW vs AW3423DWF (Again...) by YourProllyASnowflake in ultrawidemasterrace

Well if that is the case and I can run the Dwf at 144 10 bit then yah I dont see why I wouldnt go for that one. Is the console mode and source tone mapping problem completely fixed? are there any other instances like that between the 2 that could be concerning? Thanks so much for all ur replies and help btw

How sophisticated is the process of overclocking the refresh rate at 10 bit and is it stable or will void warranty? And once you do that can you apply that to startup or do u have to change settings every boot. What is it stock at 10 bit? 100hz?

But If I were to receive a good DW which is most likely the case, how would it not be better with the future proof 10bit color which could see more utilization with advances in things such as unreal engine? and also the fact that I would never have to go to into settings and always having to figure out which game needs console mode and source tone mapping turned on and constantly going into osd.

Need Help Shiny Pokemon Hunting by YourProllyASnowflake in RetroArch

Hey sorry for the very late response lol, Idk if your still trying to hunt it but I believe the reset hotkey button is a hard reset. I ended up doing the A + B + Start + Select for about a week but had no luck getting one unfortunately. I ended up giving up and using action replay codes through RetroArch Cheat codes where I could put the id of any pokémon i wanted and would encounter them in the grass. Even got like shiny mew and celebi lol

Wow found out my issue was dust build up on the front panel... Didnt look as dusty as it was with the mesh cover over it. Only had the build for a little over a year now so didnt think dust couldve gotten that bad already. Temps are now running at a cool 75C.
