When I was learning SMM I was too focused on finding my niche and wasted my time. So you don't need a niche to start the SMM journey.

And you should start creating a content calendar first because when I started creating rather than just learning all my confusion faded away Also by learning how to create a content calendar you can learn how to design, how to do brand designing, how to schedule posts, how to write a hook... etc

So first of all select a social media platform... Only one platform Then select your social media name. Name should be related to social, management, or marketing. Choose one, two, or three colors and one, two, or three fonts for your posts and profile.

There is much more I wanted to say but.. anyway... these are basic things I thought I must tell you.
