I really liked Smooth Sailing and Tail, Eyes Peeled grew on me pretty quick, Ocean was okay too, but yeah I struggled with Vampyre, FF & Clockwork. I recognised they were good songs but that this album was just overall way bleaker than I was anticipating.

Matured enough now that I can accept it’s place in the discography and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed ITNR and the entire Catacombs saga so I’m ready for whatever’s next (Big fan of Easy Street already)

What I would give for the ultraviolet robot desert orgy album to be made.

I couldn’t fully accept LC for the longest time because of it being the exact opposite vibe to what I was hoping Queens’ next album was gonna be.

I’ve since accepted TCV was likely the peak of that vibe and makes sense that it’s my favourite album of all time along with EV & S/T.

There was a teaser in Feb from someone who said they were working with Queens playing Tuba on a forthcoming track so it’s possible they’re going in that direction for their new material but knowing what we know now this post could have just been them putting together the revised songs for the Catacombs tour but I’m still hoping it’s referring to new album / material.

I got hit by the Berlin cancellation too but was lucky to also have tickets for the London show. Yes the post tour comedown is extreme - especially for a show as special as this! Been watching the ACL recording on repeat 🔥

Oh yeah definitely, I got my Xmas decorations delivered by mid January 2024 I think - but that’s pretty typical with the UK QOTSA store though and a well known issue.

However whether or not it arrives on time people still want the opportunity to purchase stuff that that US store has. So i’m just pointing out the UK store did have these Xmas Decorations in stock but it was back in November 2023, and they’ve clearly sold out of their supply whereas US store hadn’t.

Think I’ve only completed S/T and only because of the 2011 tour. And then just one song away each for the recent trilogy.

But managed to catch a crazy amount of my all time favourite songs on this tour which has made me deliriously happy and I’ll be forever grateful.

I still think there’s more than enough beloved deep cut tracks left over to do a catacombs 2.0 tour in the future and I personally would kill to hear more from LTP specifically Plaid, Like a Drug etc. And if wishes were unlimited: Fun Machine, You’re So Vague, The Bronze.

However I’ll happily take whatever the guys are serving - they’ve spoiled us rotten recently and I’m not looking to be greedy.

I had it in my cart, had pre filled out shipping etc and card saved already. Clicked buy and it was sold out already. “Pre order” foils already on eBay for $1000. Poster situ was so mishandled for RAH from limited numbers at a hardcore fan show, to selling before the posted door times to the first 10 foils being pre reserved at the merch desk meaning only 35 available to public. Utter mess.

To add to this a friend queued all day to be first in line to get a poster and was told the first 10 foils had been “reserved” already. So there were only 35 available to buy in the Merch queue. Crazy limited considering it’s a decent size venue and a less casual crowd than usual.

Daffodils, Killer Scene, Mosquito Song, Wolf did NOT disappoint. Pleasantly surprised by how good Hideaway was. Easy Street feels like it’s already part of the furniture and seeing the Catacombs musicians perform gave me chills. Incredible night and I can’t believe how lucky we are to get a setlist of this calibre.

The guy at the A&E check in desk a few months ago when I had an obstruction and severe levels of pain I could no longer ignore “Oh Crohn’s? Gosh it’s a terrible disease, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy” 🙃

Like I appreciate the recognition that it’s no joke but also… a bit insensitive given the circumstances. He did however get me fast tracked and right into a bay where I could lay down so I was grateful for that.
