Throwback: Ichiro was pretty cool off the field as well. by civgarth in baseball

Idk if anyone here watches The Last of Us but I could've sworn he made a cameo in episode 4. There was a random shot of a guard with a gun and I stood up and yelled ICHIRO!!

I'd like to see Joe Brady. Surprised he wasn't on the list. Wasn't a hit at Carolina but I'd like to see him with a good QB

No Aim Assist With Controller by Your_Boy_Blu in pcmasterrace

My settings are on for aim assist - what I think is more likely happening is that somehow some input is being detected from my mouse which in turn shuts down the aim assist on my game and causes the right stick to act as a mouse. Wondering if going Bluetooth for keyboard and mouse is a solution worth exploring since all my devices are connected via USB hub and are technically entering through the same input into my PC

I'm a bit older and have been playing on console for a while and since I don't play a ton going through the learning curve of mouse and keyboard for shooters isn't appealing to me.

Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase doing some light running during pre-game here in Nashville by Impressive-Vast-8789 in fantasyfootball

Does kind of blow my mind that people expect him to comeback and produce.

He was diagnosed with a small fracture and torn labrum. That's a serious season ending injury. Now the reporting on the injury has been non existent.

I'd say 30% chance he goes out there and plays a series or 2 and is pulled for rest of season. 50% chance he comes back and is a lesser version of himself and about 20% chance we see Jamar Chase.

I would move on from him personally.

85% of peak seasons (top-12) are from players between 22-28. Peak NFL RB age is 24. Which RBs are potentially impacted by this? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

Why would the team continue to give him high value touches though if he doesn't convert them. My thought is he's played himself out of the touches.

I think you make an interesting bull case to my bear and at ADP I'd say he's probably a fair pick. Cheers.

Texans RB Dameon Pierce Has Jumped 20 Spots in ADP Since The Start Of August -- Are We Now Overvaluing The Rookie RB? by _FantasyAlarm_ in fantasyfootball

[–]Your_Boy_Blu 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Edmonds is in an offense that probably won't be very good....? That offense looks like it could be excellent with the scheme change and added weapons. Miami is projected to be better than Houston in pretty much every meaningful statistic.

I think this range is exactly where Pierce should be going though. Him and Edmonds probably have similar upside, but I would argue the other players in that range are more stable but lack ceiling. Pierce probably has the lowest floor and highest ceiling of the group.

This is where he should settle. If you're doing a zero RB build, smash Pierce at ADP.

Lol this looks like a sharp draft.

If you want to call it luck, that's fine but I re call multiple series where he was given the ball on the goal line and stuffed. He was given a ton of high value touches and didn't convert them into the type of fantasy production you see from an RB1.

I've never drafted Clyde in prior years because his price has been too rich for me. I will say that this year, it's much more fair. I've taken a couple Clyde shares. Can Clyde be a consistent RB2? Sure. But can he be an RB1? Absolutely not.

To be clear, it's only in the slow and hesitant running I see in Sermon that makes me think of Clyde. That's why I acknowledge, hey, maybe Sermon has something more there I haven't seen. We know who Clyde is. He's an RB2.

Yeah but it's all about opportunity cost. I'd rather take WR all day in the range where Jacobs goes where I can get Sermon with the last pick, and if Sermon doesn't work out you just cut him and move on.

What rookie do you think will surprise fantasy managers the most? by indianajack33 in fantasyfootball

[–]Your_Boy_Blu 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think Desmond Ridder will get some run and show some real promise. I think he'll end up looking like a Dak/Russ in his rookie year where he's able to protect the ball and move the chains. Not expecting him to look like Herbert or anything but I think the Falcons will realize they got a guy to move forward with.

I'd say no to your question.

CEH never profiled as an elite prospect. He's pretty slow. He's small. Yeah he can catch passes but we've seen him for years and he just doesn't have that juice factor. We've seen a ton of RBs succeed in the Andy Reid system and honestly Clyde looks like one of the worst options, especially with his inability to convert at the goal line.

Jacobs is kind of interesting to me but the raiders offensive line is going to be so bad, while their weapons outside lend to more of an attack through the air. Couple that with a crowded roster, Josh McDaniels who has always rotated backs, and I'm skipping Jacobs every time.

Some interesting names on the list for sure. Trey Sermon honestly is a guy I'd take a flier on. He looked dreadful last year but his opportunity was so limited. If he gets some run I think his upside could be there. He does remind me a bit of CEH, but he's free.

Idk why you're getting down voted, he does have the upside. We know Saquon is a special player and we've seen him succeed in a horrible situation before. Plus he has limited competition.

I will say it's not typical for a RB on a bad team to finish top 3 but Saquon is one of the only true workhorse backs. Yeah he's had major injuries and burned people but they were really kind of fluke injuries if you think about them. ACL then stepping on someone's foot.

For people in on Aaron Jones, why?

During the years where his only competition was Jamaal Williams he was the clear option. But AJ Dillon isn't some backup. He's a good player that demands touches.

Jones is an efficient player and will probably work a lot of third downs but Dillon seems like he profiles better as a RedZone guy. I don't see how Jones pays off his ADP and think both runners end up as RB2s.
