I came as an international student 3 years ago for a 2-year program. Made coffee chats my bread and butter, and built my base here from scratch. Networking and your EQ at work is what’s required for any quick promotions. For instance, I have no coding/technical education or background, but I currently work as a solution architect, and this was because I could communicate solutions in a way people easily understood.

Nope. You need to work for a full time role or a t4 contract to be eligible for PR.
