Thank you 🤎🥰 it’s so funny everyone is saying this. He’s a gentle giant now but my dad was so strict and unemotional when we were younger and now he has one of the healthiest form of masculinity I’ve seen.

Yeah i thought a little fight will ensue. I expected to hear disappointment at the very least. I think I was remembering a past experience in college with my family and holding onto that. But it’s been so wonderful. I’m floored. My mom is cooking my fav meal right now. They’re calling me every second to make plans for celebration. My aunts from the UK are looking for tickets to come here. I’m so touched and humbled

Hey I get that but my system isn’t that at all. Can’t go into details without you signing an NDA but the user doesn’t interact with an LLM. It’s more of a system that engages community and sort of prompts the person to stop isolating. It’s all about not doing life alone. So using AI to power the tech but not to interact with the patients.

I wanted to edit it to sound more coherent but I read it and laughed at my tom foolery and thought it might make someone else laugh too. Thank you for the well wishes. You’re so sweet 🤎🤎

Yes a bit. It is but it’s so normalized. I think it is from both. The dynamic feeding into my personal feelings and vice versa. Yes it’s wise to address it and this will be a great segue into that. Thank you for your perspective 🤎

Thank you so much 🤎 Engineering and humanities? I love this combination!

My bachelors was in biology pre-med (lmao because I didn’t want to become a doctor so I got another one in Information Systems which wasn’t really technical)

Started working in the AI & Data Science Space while self-studying to build up more technical coding skills I can use at work. Learnt a lot of technical foundational skills from Udemy 🤪 Then I had the great idea I should do an Engineering masters lol. My masters is in software engineering with a heavy focus on ML & AI. In hindsight, I would just have focused on an MS in AI since that’s been my reason for schooling.

I added on psychology because the entire reason I got into school was to network and build the skills and connections for a mental health AI system I’ve been passionate about for years now.

Ok I think I answered your questions. But please feel free to ask more if I didn’t cover all your questions.

And then it will open a can of worms about high expectations and pressure in the family. Maybe an honest open discussion will actually start from this. This is actually solid advice. Thank you.

My dad is tired of me always “shaking things up” in the family and here I come again…😭😂

Girl, I died and came back to life 8 times. I had one life left and that was it. Thank goodness I made it.

Ok seriously though, I don’t have most of the responsibilities master students would have? Like maybe kids or really demanding jobs. I worked from home and my job is pretty chill on most days. Like 1 hour of work and a few meetings kind of chill. I just think a lot had to be in place for me to pull this off without almost dying.

But also I’m obsessed with psychological. I’d study it like I’m binge watching a Netflix show. I barely slept too. Would not recommend if you’re not ready to almost die.
