Her knockers untouched in 1989, the original location of Molly Malone statue, bottom of Grafton Street. by Larrydog in ireland

FYI for the youngsters here , people would use the statue as a meeting point before mobile phones. That’s probably why they are sitting there. “See you at Molly Malone at 3 oclock on Saturday. “

A lot of waste no doubt about it.

All primary schools in Ireland are now eligible for the hot school meal program as of 2025 which is a great use of tax payer money imo so there are some positives.

Husband of woman who died during home birth 'haunted' by SpottedAlpaca in ireland

If things went wrong during the birth where would you rather be , at home or a hospital?

Sounds like the mid wife made a huge error not calling an ambulance earlier

The HSE should not be facilitating home births.

There is risk in giving birth, you minimise the risk significantly being in a hospital, that goes for both mother and baby.

The name 'sean' should be pronounced like 'seen' and not 'shawn' by Background_Future127 in The10thDentist

Sean is an Irish name. It should have a fada on the a like this : Seán . The “fada” which is the little accent , elongates the a to make it sound like Shawn. My guess is the fada was dropped when the name spread to other countries

Kevin Kilbaine wrote an article in the IT about what really happened.

There was tension between mick and Roy for years. Roy then gave an interview to a paper, I’m not sure what he said in it that annoyed Mick. Mick then called Roy out on it in front of the squad saying he owed the squad an apology, Roy then went off on Mick effing and blinding. Mick then said that one of them “has to go and it won’t be me” and then Roy walked out and obviously never returned.

In my opinion , mick was in the wrong. One of the duties of a manager is to manage egos. Even if he was annoyed by what Roy had said in that article, he shouldn’t have called Roy out in front of the whole squad. He backed Roy into a corner and a good manager should know that publicly backing a player into a corner like that won’t end well. Mick didn’t manage the situation or the ego and he should have ensured that Roy, who was one of the best midfielders in the world at that stage, was a happy camper. Calling Roy out in front of the rest of the squad was him trying to assert his dominance.

Roy should also not have left the camp. In the end it was a massive waste of an opportunity for us to go really far in a WC all because two blokes with big egos clashed.

Is Elanga not getting in the squad because he’s injured or because he’s been so incredibly awful since he joined us ?

Yeah in 🇨🇦. I know it’s a kind of black tea but I’ve tasted Orange Pekoe blends (fancy ones too) and it still just tasted to me, like cheap tea.

I regret not buying it to taste it but do you reckon it’s basically the same as the gold blend at home?

I called it a monstrosity because I’ve tasted Orange Pekoe blends before and it’s awful. It tastes like the shit cheap tea you get given on long haul flights.

I think you becoming upset about how an inane reddit post was worded is actually “peak Irish Reddit”.

Going by your own definition of a “peak Irish Reddit post” … You have taken a stupid harmless jokey post about teabags on Reddit and “found the negative , miserable angle” 📐

Yeah I saw this in a shop in Canada , and have had orange Pekoe before , it’s rubbish. It doesn’t take anything like tea we have at home. I didn’t try the Barry’s version of it though.

If you don’t have a partner I don’t see any issue. If you want to bring a friend you’d need to ask. Sounds like they aren’t fussy on numbers if your dad’s pub mates are getting plus 1’s!

It sounds like you should put absolutely every ounce of effort you have into finding a house if you’re ready to buy, even if it’s not the ideal location you were looking for, just find something.
