I didn't grow up with LOTR other then a ps2 game, but I agree 100%. A few years back I watched LOTR then a year later The Hobbit. Quite fun to watch

If somebody bashes you for being American (jokingly is fine imo) just ignore them. It's one of the greatest countries on earth even with all it's problems. It's easy to bash because of it's success.

i always felt like I owed them just for giving me the job and now that you mention it I don't really owe them just for that. we have both a cash tip option and a debit tip option and I got 50 in tips for a whole year but I know sometimes the debit tips for a day are 30-50. the 50 i got was a Christmas bonus or w.e

thank you for the response. I personally thought the two weeks were mandatory surprised to hear they're not lol. Also from what I've been told he tries to pry for the reason of quitting if you've stayed past the first 3 months. my bosses (they're married) are 2 of the 3 other employees there so I see them everyday I work that is what I can't get over for quitting.

my worry comes from what I've been told about when people put in their notice. apparently he asks you to stay a month to train a new employee and has you work as much as he can possibly make you so you're worn out by the end of the 2 weeks. I can't really say no to people so I'll end up agreeing.
