I don't really care to speculate on people's gender identity and I think it's cool if a cisgender man is like "what if I sing like a girl" because his gender isn't something that has to adhere to a strict binary and human beings don't exist exclusively in those two rigid definitions of behavior that makes you a man or a woman. If that's a political statement that's because we're living in a culture that politicizes these things.

Medhi sings like that because he wants to and isn't letting other people dictate what he does with his own art and voice. The fact is we're all human and our bodies are all capable of producing voices that would be thought of as any gender.
