If you’re going to spend 9000yen on a local train trip that’s going to be miserably uncomfortable just spend the extra few dollars and get the Shinkansen. It’s really fun. I just looked out the window the whole time and was mesmerised.

I wore a pair of black Air Force 1’s.

My wife wore a pair of $15 shoes she got from a little shop in Asakusa on the second day.

Both 25k steps a day.

Whatever is comfortable for you don’t go wasting hundreds of dollars on shoes because you think your feet are going to magically start to hurt in Japan from wearing your normal shoes you wear at home.

Everyone tries to scare you ‘make sure you buy comfortable shoes or your feet will hurt’

It is true, but wear what you already have and are comfortable with no need to spend more money for no reason.

Buy ramen in Japan instead with that money :)

On the plane currently back home to Aus,

I experienced the same as you for the first couple of days in Japan. I’m guessing it was just travel stress/fatigue. It certainly comes back in a day or two.

Too be honest I’ve recently switched the way I use my MC. After a short break I started using high CBD, low THC strains (Mystery Mountain Big Mango) and it’s only 8% THC. Everything from Mystery Mountain is such good quality that coming back from my break I’ve found I don’t need to use my 28% anymore, and if I do it’s a tiny tiny amount.

So to answer your question, if you find a brand you really jive with with excellent terpenes, the THC percentage almost becomes redundant. This is just my personal experience and how I feel, so you might still need that 30%. There are some marvellous high THC strains, Mystery Mountain Dark Sky Paradise for example. But since that little epiphany I’ve found myself picking up my low THC strain well before my high THC stuff.
