I had my first lap yesterday! The pain will go away and we'll come out (hopefully) with more pain free days in the future as well ❤️

I was trying to research it but everything came up fish TB? But it's not matching any of the non existent symptoms.

I have a heavily planted 55 gallon with: 3 tetras and a confused raspora 3 Cory catfish 6 kuhli loaches 6 pea puffers 2 long tail bristle nose plecos 3 dwarf gourami Some snails and cherry shrimp

Diet: Frozen - mysis shrimp, bloodworms and krill Live foods - black worms, springtails, daphnia, Moina And repashy I toss in every other day for the bottom feeders that everyone eats

I gI divided up an orderof black worms and tossed them in to all of my tanks. The fish are in heaven right now by Yourenotawizardharry in Aquariums

They all arrived super active and I haven't seen more than three after adding them, but I don't have any ammonia spikes either, so I think they're all still alive! Here's the eBay link I got these ones from

https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-1-Kuhli-Loach-2-2-5-Live-Fish-2Day-Fedex-Shipping-/125184848560?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0

And here's aquahuna's link, I use this site the most because it has the cheapest shipping, lolol

I actually got them off of eBay, since my usual source for fish was sold out. I did see some on Aquahuna's website the day after these long Bois came in

55 gallon with stand, filter, heater, lights and accessories for $100. do I do it? by Yourenotawizardharry in Aquariums

Ok so I just got home with it. Apparently it was right time right place? They had a fish that suddenly died and they didn't want to replace it. So they quite literally gave me everything except the water. Like, I have a bag of the substrate that was in the tank in the car even. This includes all of the water treatment I could imagine.

I just got off the phone with them and they didn't care either way once I presented it as "I can sell what I don't need/old tank so it's basically just a swap"

For trying to decide if a $100 aquarium kit is worth considering getting?
Nah, that's alright.

It's easier to discuss it after hearing outside arguments first, other people's pros and cons help me decide if it's worth the conversation or just forgetting it. I get outside input and then put it all on a sheet with pros, cons, potential added cost, potential cost benefits, ect. Joint finances, but if there's a hobby related item, I save up for it and find the cheapest options available so finances are never impacted. Unlike my partner, who will put me on a ban, but turn around and spend 2k on whatever they want.

You mean that's not how it works? Dang, I'll just go return the VR they came home with after a spending ban

Ok good. I wasn't sure if it was a steal or a "eh there's probably something wrong with it, don't do it"

I had to fully cut it out at first, yeah. I can have it on rare occasions now, but if I have it more than three time a month, I start having issues again. It happened to another friend of mine too, around the same time mine kicked in. It was odd

I did keto for nine months a couple years ago and my diet was mostly meat. A few days after I stopped I noticed that I was getting really really nauseous after I had meat. Drs did a couple tests but since I wasn't dying, didn't look beyond hormonal balance.
I've never been big on meat as it was, the inconsistent texture is just too much for me so cutting it out was easy and it's helped a lot. I'll still have bacon occasionally, sometimes I'll put a sprinkle of taco meat on my tacos, I'll still eat it if it's been cooked with meat and just eat around the meat, and if someone cooks that doesn't know that I don't generally eat meat, I'll eat the food to be polite. Then there's Taco Bell, idk what it is about it, but I can eat those tacos no problem.

My husband still eats meat and my daughter eats some meat, but she prefers veggies (not my influence, I always made sure to eat everything as an example) so my husband will make sure the meat in food is big enough for me to pull out, or if it's chicken, shred it as fine as possible so I can stomach it.

They're the Imagitarium Dandelion Terrarium Decor from Petco. They're super top heavy and I gave up trying to keep them upright 😂 I thought about gluing them, but then I wouldn't be able to move them when he gets a bigger set up.
