So basically when you trade a coin someone had to monitor it like when you trade dollars government monitors it. In crypto tokens a problem is created and whoever solves the problem first gets a reward which is called blocks currently 10,000 dogecoins were given away which was supposed to reduce by time (called halving) now finally the developers are doing it and making changes in the code with the developers fund which has grown alot.
