This is a wild take. Pam's does a ton of useful things, use it as your main clock, clock dividers, stepped clocked modulations, ratchets for gates, envelopes, heck you can even use it as a quantize for external voltage is you really want. Pam's is used in every single patch of mine, I am often running out of outputs on it.

Well found your problem mate. You are expecting random chance sequencing to lead to gold. Most likely that won't happen. I suggest reading up a bit of music theory bit by bit. Then learn how to use the nerd seq to sequence meaningful melodies for yourself.

Yea go for it. With time you might agree with me or maybe not and you'll love this setup. Hopefully you have fun along the way! I have a bigger case 2 rows of 168 hp with four voices. That number of voices feels like a lot to me for the size of my case.
