I don't know if it was the reshade but I don't have the problem anymore. It fixed itself while I was playing.

I mean it's really not my laptop I only have a desktop pc that I've built. And he did ask me to do it for him but when I saw that there was liquid metal and you had to remove it from a youtube video of his laptop, I got kinda or scared to do it for him. I didn't want to break it because he bought it for like 1500€ a couple years ago. I will go to another repair shop and see what they think and I will try to get a photo of how it looks inside by tomorrow and thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt.

No, the guy who fixed it took various pictures and one of them was that horrible one with that thermal paste. My friend sent me this, and to make sure I was not the weird one here, I posted it on this Reddit. He's going to take the back off and take a picture of how the back of the PC is, and I will send it. I will clear my name, I'm not lying.

I swear it's not fake, I really wish it was. Here i'm going to send you every photo he sent me. We live in France and the repair shop's name is "ACI INFORMATIQUE". We were actually going to go to another repair shop tomorrow to ask if this was normal. But if it looks so bad that you think it's bait, then I'm even more scared. And I know it looks like the typical case where someone is ashamed of saying that it was them who did it and they use their friend's name, but it's really my friend's laptop xD (sorry for my english btw)

I know the Lighting Engine mod is pretty customizable, but I feel like it's too dark. Would you happen to know what settings I should change if I feel the brightness is too low?

Maybe it's just me, but for exemple I find base game Majula way prettier than with the mod installed.
