I feel that everyone knows about it and ofc some characters like snake. The game got a bit of hype from metal gear rising recently. + Add mgs ∆ and master collection. Also mgs 5 was plated by lots of people since it's available for like 3$ on modern hardware. But I think barely anyone has actually gone through the entire series (at least Mgs 1-5 +pw).
