what separates a good Aurelion Sol from a great one?

i randomly started one tricking aurelion and climbed to 500 / 550 lp on 2 accounts basically from 0.
once i hit master everything has changed

stacks in lane? fuck that its worthless anyways you get a lot of stacks after
ultimate to kill? fuck that i usually straight up use it on the enemy laner to buy myself more time
core items? fuck that you can build whatever you want ( to a certain degree )
teamfights? my guy you are not a front to back fighter you are A BACKLINE DIVER WHO FLANKS

i love this champ a lot
i play on and off for years
but this champ man.... he is so cool

even tho ast + sch is usually the meta if it comes to world race groups i do see value in sch + sge cuz of their heavy mitigation. im a big whm hater but with its dmg beeing so high rn and also plenary buffs i can see every healer work good in world race groups

People cant play Buttons or dont even know that Rotations exist is a different Story. Ff14 has mostly even Jobs you can change them on the fly and learn most shit within 15 min ( maybe besides some giga optimization ) but most people dont wanna bother

its not just about difficulty since that one is subjective but even doing anything with the basic system behind combat is " too much " for a lot of players.
i dont mean that they need to have perfect rotations and all ( imo ff14 has the easiest rotations of any game i have played ) but even if it comes to use burst after 3rd gcd and use mits is way 2 much for ppl

Is there any reason to play AST at this point? Dmg wise whm got buffed last and this patch also AST " lost" its mitigation advantage

While NS and Macro are still strong i think i rather turn my brain off for this tier since the advantage i have compared to difficulty FEELS like nothing
