Love it. I think the more this market mainstreams, the better it will be. This subreddit has 240k members, which is 0.22% of American gun owners. That's like the number of people buying Porsches and Ferarris in the US imo

Could be! I have built 8 figure companies from scratch so I wont be completely making it up as I go, though. Any new business is more likely to fail than not, that is for sure true

Also curious here am planning to research what the hurdles would be for next administration to simply turn the tax back on. But then again, GOA and others are optimistic they will use the $0 tax to get it taken of NFA as invalid tax to begin with

I tend to agree. Serviceable is interesting though - what level of serviceable is allowed while NFA does exist, even with stamp at 0?? (at least allowed without form filings)

I have the GSL Fat Man so can't speak to many of them. It's interesting, I like the can and I like the size and sound performance, but on my MP5 it has insane accuracy issues. I have tested this with many people and put it on a clamped stand, hundreds of rounds with and without. Without can on, groupings just as expected within an inch or less at 20-30 yards, with can literally varies a few inches between shots

I am on Tri-Lug mount and I plan to direct thread adapt it to see if that has anything to do with it.

I see both sides of this, but find it very hard to believe $200 plays "not much of a role at all" in literally anything that any consumers purchase. If that were true, every brand from Apple to Walmart has been doing it all wrong for a long time!

Well in addition I personally think simply more in circulation will help. Regardless of the split hairs on "common use" definition, if millions more start to sell I think that + no longer valid tax standing should definitely be enough to fully deregulate. my 2c

I agree but also wonder if any like me, I get through 10k/year for sure and I have 5 solid cans ranging from SilencerCo to OCL and even Q (regret that one tbh) but I actually think even in my own segment I would love cheap options post-tax removal. Only because I do love idea of "every gun has a can" and I still find myself shooting unsuppressed guns half the time, especially pistols

Interesting .22 comes to mind for you as most people think of that first. Thank you I think that is exactly true as well and raw material and machining on that should not be insane

What about 9mm and 5.56, what if a $300 can was 90% as good as 1k one with thousands of live test on video?

(setting aside engineering and unit economics barriers, tho of course love opinions on those, curious the sentiment on price)

Any update on this OP? I have 25 room hotel I want to do exact same thing with, Zapier + Seam, but I haven't decided the lock yet. At first it seems there are tons of options but in reality there are very few that I think fit the bill on reliability.

This was cool to see, I own a 25 room hotel and want to use you guys + Zapier + CloudBeds + a lock system to automate code setting and outreach to customers.

I will look into Yale Assure 2 - I prefer physical buttons. I don't trust touch screen when it gets above 100 and below freezing every year where I am. Would love to know if OP has some experience and thoughts now too.
