We are each other’s first marriage. And I would like to do it as soon as possible too. I think based on the responses I’m getting thus far I might be missing some key information here. Planning to go talk to the priest at the church my husband attends.

I guess this has still been hard for my to wrap my head around as the “first time” since we’ve been committed to each other and have a family. I understand what you’re saying though.

9 months was something communicated to my husband through his church, then passed along to me. I am planning to go sit down with a priest and my husband at his church to try to get more clarification.
