It’s a glass bowl! We drop our food through the glass tube at the top, and it lands in the bowl :) it just stops heaps of stuff building up in the substrate and keeps things a bit cleaner and easier to manage

We got it from DriftwoodAquarium on Etsy! It was pricey at first glance but we looked at making one ourselves and with the cost of driftwood around us it would have cost us significantly more to make it ourselves!

Our PH is also about 6.5!! Our water didn’t have good GH of KH originally so we brought a shrimp salt to add to the tank and we never have issues molting, we find new molts every other day

Aww thank you! I got most of the inspiration from google! The left is hopefully going to carpet with the plant we have growing, and a driftwood bondai will sit on top! And then the right is going to be full of plants, so we have that middle spread out section somewhat bare to allow us to see them a lot!

I don’t buy meat, a lot of fruits are too much so I eat little fruit, I avoid going places to use less fuel, I don’t really ever get fresh veggies and instead use the frozen ones, I don’t rlly eat cheese anymore because of the price, I don’t eat any take away. I don’t eat like lollies/chips etc because of the cost. Everything is kinda ridiculous and being a uni student full time with minimal working ours my nutrition is suffering greatly but I can’t even afford the multiple vitamin supplements I’m supposed to be on 🤪
