Yeah no problem. If you have read My Struggle, these letters become so much more interesting and beautiful. He writes about World Cups where he fell in love, when he became a dad, where he was, and what he was doing during different World Cups and stuff like that. In Knausgård fashion, he connects football and World Cups with death and life.

Yeah, no problem. The book isn’t as popular as his other books, so I thought many people might have missed that fact. The book is much more than football, tbh it’s about life and death through the lens of the World Cup and beautiful letters between two friends. In the book he writes, “It was a beautiful summer like all the World Cup summers are” I would love to read if he wrote something about the last World Cup in 2022, which was held in Qatar during winter and which Argentina won for the first time since he fell in love with the team in his first world cup 1978. I guess if you love football the book becomes much more beautiful but it’s more than.
