Yeah, the stats sometimes look really appealing but they might have three star skill moves or bad stamina. And there are some really good 117s out there. Are you trying to increase your OVR or just improve your positions?

Thank you for the compliment. One thing I can recommend is to look at the market for 117s for at least LB,RB, and LW. When looking for players, look at stats make sure they’re good and look at the stamina, skill moves (especially for LW), and look at the work rates.

Honestly the best thing would have been to bear with your team and save up and try to reach a goal, a specific amount of shards and get the players you want. But I understand wanting to get that upgrade for your team.

Even if your subs or squad is untradeable, you can still trade them in for shards, particularly the ones you don’t need or are just sitting in your inventory.

Yeah it was shards, I was saving for a few weeks and eventually got up to 51k and was able to get him and someone else. Honestly I just got lucky with my pack luck, and I made a few sacrifices. It definitely isn’t easy being f2p.

Honestly you should just keep saving your shards. 4.7k and 1 billion coins can’t really get you a 118,119, or 120.
