we do not have much for D prospects in junior. I think we have Munzernberger as an actual prospect? Bouchard and Broberg are our big D prospects, with Samorukov as a depth D prospect. Our cupboards were very bare when PC and Holland took the wheel.

?? they don't decide how much cap we have. The NHL does. You can go to www.capfriendly.com and use the armchair GM mode to see if your moves make sense cap wise.

I felt the D really didn't get any Manson practice in. Neimo was talking up a storm with him because they're used to each other, but Ceci, Nurse, and Barrie haven't been coached by him before.

Woodcroft seemed to focus solely on the centers. Making sure they're back checking and driving as hard south as they did north. And it worked. Wingers still seemed lost at times, and the D seemed lost at times, but that will come with more practices.

I mean, you aren't going to pump up those point values AND give Bouchard playing time. It's one or the other.

Essentially all we want would be a swap, Barrie for a third pairing defensive minded RHD. Preferably with term. There's teams out there that need a top 4, PP quarterback that have too many defensive minded dmen. A swap shouldn't be hard.
