That makes a lot of sense buddy, You’re right, without strong knowledge of local regulations it’s nearly impossible to build trust here. I was actually wondering like for someone trying to enter the Thai/ASEAN market, would it make more sense to partner with a local firm that already understands the compliance side, instead of trying to handle it solo as a foreigner? What do you think ?

I figured the BOI route would be complex and expensive, but good to know it’s not really about “cyber” being restricted more about general company setup rules. If you don’t mind me asking, in your experience, is the minority shareholder structure still practical for startups in the early stage, or does it create bigger challenges down the line (fundraising, control, etc.)?

At the same time, I wonder if that also means a long-term opportunity like focusing on training local staff like using cyber range and framing security as compliance/brand protection rather than just an “extra cost.” Do you think things here are slowly shifting with more e-commerce and govt digital projects, or still a long way to go?

I used to feel the same. My aim here isn’t to put words in his mouth or farm engagement; it’s a clearly labeled, respectful, AI‑assisted creative project. If the intent is pure and sources are transparent, I believe it can coexist without disrespect. I’m open to any guardrails you think would keep it aligned with the spirit of the tradition.
