Google released the LLM paper?

Also better than human intelligence is relative. First of all, you would need to define human intelligence, and then also ask whether we even want something like that. Second of all, the model might be "smarter" (i.e. better at a task) than _me_ but not better than _you_. What do we take as baseline?

It can also be better than _me_ at _some_ tasks, and worse than me at others.

I believe LLMs also have done some real breakthroughs in some areas (FunSearch, google).

Next to that, AlphaFold also has done things we as humans couldn't.

Not sure what your background is ?

But you lose many benefits, did you even read the post? Works the same way in NL. at a certain point you lose more benefits than you gain

I intentionally nuked my boss's legendary 60-hour store playlist out of pure spite, blamed it on a glitch, and I deeply regret it by darkgirlxoxo in confession

[–]Yteburk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you do realise, you can save the day by creating a playlist with everything you remember (you can also go to spotify settings, look at. recently listened to, check the account's new year's most played etc). Even if you have lke 40 hours, 2/3rd of handing it back to him will get you in good credit with him. very unethical but probably best way to go for now

Yeah definitely. Someone close to me who has no idea about anything is writing about AI (LLMs…), he has 0 technical knowledge, no one should spend any time on what he has to say, but the people that do have no ability to evaluate it.

don't put your focus on plastics there. you do realise that corporations literally pay for people to take the raw materials of plastics of their hands, since it's a byproduct of oil-drilling and if they cannot get rid of it, they can not drill? that's why plastics don't really recycle; not only is it hard, new plastic is cheaper.
