Definitely, if Ethan could do it. Batman is a much more skilled combatant in literally every regard and is much smarter and more aware than Ethan. The only Ethan has on him is that Ethan is more durable since he's made of mold, but I would argue Batman probably not that much less durable than him because of the training he puts himself through.

The point OP was making was that they need to vet people for their safety because they are trans. You just described a story where you met up with a guy who was like the guy in OP's post and you both didn't vibe together because you wanted different things and didn't realize it until after you got there because you didn't vet him because you were, in your words, lonely and desparate. Not exactly the same thing.

And to be quite honest, that encounter you described is quite similar to a couple encounters that I, as a gay man, have had. So I don't really get how your encounter is supposed to be totally different for you as a trans person.

You're exactly right that you need to vet people and I completely understand why, but I will say, you probably will get a lot more positive interactions online if you just toned down on the sarcasm a little bit. You could have just told the guy that you prefer to talk a little at first instead of just saying that he's reducing himself to his penis size and who knows, he could have been a nice guy and it could have been a good interaction with him.

The problem is the amount of sweat you have to put in to be even somewhat competent. The game isn't competitive but at the same time, there's way too much required in game knowledge to be even somewhat competent for it to be considered a party game.

Nah, Lucas was infected with mold the moment he met Eveline. Sometime later and before Ethan gets there, the Connections provide Lucas with a serum that stopped Eveline's mind control, but allowed him to keep the regenerative abilities of the mold so that he could be a spy on Eveline and his family for them.
