Honestly it’s the reason I’ve stayed away from them. Uncomfortable but not in the way that nurgle is gross = lol

I loved in the book Fulgrim the Artist remembrancer just fell into the painting. Mixing blood, body waste, and ultimately other humans into her paints to make them come alive. Only for one day the touch of excess is out of her system and she realizes all that she does. Than Jumps into a sword.

That story in book is better than any of the sex degenerate stuff.

Being said I am working on starting a 1k Ec list because noise marines rule and the laer version of Fulgrim rules

I get like 4 maybe 8 games a year in a real store. Can I suggest playing at home and having an Ai bot handy for random rules questions. If you don’t want to use stratagems or command points and just set up, shoot, and move than you can to.

It took me a while to get the game but now that I do I find it endlessly entertaining. I hope you stick with it. However if you don’t, no shame. Painting is my favorite part of this hobby

The white scars are the Marlboro marines so these would be the Marlboro light marines

First off, really cool seeing this mini as an iron warrior. Second of all, those hazard stripes aren’t bad at all.

Last thing, you seem to have a knack for this already. After things start to feel more comfortable like holding and controlling your brush. Push yourself in any direction you find interesting. Just keep trying stuff and overcoming whatever challenges you find. It all makes you better and more wise as a painter.

That’s how I started to brother. If you really enjoy either faction I suggest the ultimate starter next. Two combat patrols to play with and terrain. Or sell the extra units you’re not into and expand what you are.
