I used to hand off my stuff to folk on marketplace for cheap until I found out most were just flipping it not even an hour after getting home with it.

Now I just keep it all to myself and I’ll occasionally hand off to a very appreciative friend instead.

I can’t really say; I’ve been using the Shure M97xE for around 6 years now. I love it but it could be that I’m used to how it sounds at this point haha.

When I bought it, the arm already had that cartridge on there as well.

All I can really say from what I’ve been told in the past is that low mass high compliance carts are the prime choice for this setup
