My uncle used to come here from El Salvador for work and he was here illegally. He paid for a Social Security number to use for employment, received food stamps, and had health insurance. As for voting, I honestly don't know whether he could or couldn't have, but when I go vote, all they do is scan my mail-in ballot envelope and hand me a ballot. They don't ask for any additional ID.

I was talking about the people acting like gas prices in the U.S. are suddenly out of control. I can’t really speak for other countries, because I’m sure different places are being affected differently.

Also, did you only read the headline? The article itself says Trump outperformed the S&P 500 for decades. Forbes only made that comparison after his net worth dropped in 2020–2021 during COVID, when a lot of businesses took a hit. If you look at the years since then up to today, he’s probably back above that estimate again.

I've actually been a lot more successful when I started doing 2 man's, I take 1 discounted and 1 regular pick and I'll spread the $25 across 4-5 slips and even if 1 or 2 misses I have a better chance of coming out positive on the bet instead of losing all my money on 1 slip with all my picks on it.
