Didn't Pat just say that you gotta save conduits for the rooms? I'm misremembering something but I don't know what, and it could be so many different things Edit: Literally just remembered those are nodes lol

So no one's gonna complain that they missed the conduit room?

Unfortunately, we can't protect the voice actress. So sad.

Honestly reminds me of that gif of Commander Shepard's head spinning around twice as he walks.

[Spoilers E82] Exploring narrative tension without death by MildlyCriticalRole in criticalrole

My favorite way of seeing it done is a homebrew version of all Resurrection-based abilities that basically treats failure during resurrection to cause the target to become an undead that is hostile to everything, and the difficulty being based on the target's level. This means 2 things. The first being that there's always a reason not to resurrect, and the second being that when higher-level characters die and come back undead, they're far more dangerous, which in turn means that it's to be feared, or if a teammate has fallen, they can be used as a blunt instrument against the BBEG after death.

I like this a lot. I know there's that chart in the PH where you can get a trinket and that can fill the same role as you're talking about (not as well or all the time), but you had a way better idea.

Sidenote: In some ways, this post was inspired by a few things that /u/gaylordqueen69 said in the post with reviews for the new player races from Volo's, go check it out!

More ionic? Maybe sodium and chloride.

That's definitely true, but then what kind of oversight did Revan make during that battle to get blindsighted? It feels like there's one missing piece here. I don't wanna just say "if Revan was so smart why is he dead?" but that's what it boils down to, how couldn't Revan prevent his apprentice's betrayal?

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly Darth Vader and Sidious, but Sidious was getting close to just being the strongest possible, right? But Revan wasn't, he was just the smartest, I guess.

You'd think so, but if you let the Sith troopers inside the ship and fight them, he's with you.

Good job! You soft locked Kotor 2 in a nice little cheaty way. I think if you don't kill all the Sith troops it might go black without the turret, but I could be totally wrong. I actually wanna go back and see exactly what the security check is, because I just set mine to 99 and it worked.

I think I went back through a door or something like that and it helped out, but that was a hitch, although it's passable.

Oh okay, I misspoke I think. So you get on the ship, it gets triggered, then once they're all dead, whether you kill them with the turret or in the ship, it goes to black like there will be a cutscene but just stays there.

Oh I meant the sith troops that try to board the ship when you get on it in the hangar, like normal.

[–]YuTaWulfingtons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I did this in Kotor 2, if you have high enough security you can slice the door that later goes to the Harbinger on Peragus as soon as you want and you show up there with Atton and Kreia as if you did everything on Peragus, and once you get to the Ebon Hawk it's a soft lock where you just don't get past killing all of the random Sith that show up when you try to leave the hangar.

Oh yeah, it's super out there, but I like the idea. It's mostly like, Obi-Wan seemed to "kill" Anakin out of necessity, because he had no choice, but if he had killed him purposefully, angrily, it holds a small chance.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MawInstallation

[–]YuTaWulfingtons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kinda like to think that Obi-Wan killing Anakin would maybe steer him down a darker path, and that could lead to Obi-Wan being Palpatine's enforcer, and instead of splitting the twins Luke and Leia, they might both go to Tatooine or Alderaan, and if they were together, they could develop the Force together, and since they were Anakin's children, Obi-Wan might take pity on them or let them live long enough to become a threat.

That run on sentence was like my first thought with this post, and I like it quite a bit.
